He's a troublemaker. We should cut him. :p:
You think BP is crossing his fingers that DH doesn't do great, just maybe good since he hates QB controversies?

If he plays well at all there will be controversy.

If he just plays good...not great. Then every Cowboy forum is gonna have all kindsa Parcells bashing posts.

Nah, cuz he'd rather have people focus on the 3rd string QB in NFLE than questioning how the season ended.

Was gonna put this in the other thread, but I figured it deserved it's own thread.

I'm not a football expert by any stretch of the imagination.

So I'll be looking at his:

Pocket presence
Accuracy
Throwing motion, maybe?

I'm sure others will be looking at other things, but I'm kinda looking at the obvious stuff. My list may grow as the NFLE season grows.

Absolutely nothing.

I think this guy is a backup at best and therefore have already made my mind up that the Boys need to draft a Quarterback.

It is still NFL Europe talent and until I see him do something of worthiness on the NFL Gridiron, I will not be convinced.

Good opportunity for him but I will predict that his trip to NFL Europe will leave everyone with more questions about his ability and he may not even start for the squad he goes to.

Not exactly the scope of the thread, but I already know your position on the QB position.

But even as a backup, should Bledsoe go down, I'd imagine you'd at least wanna know whether he or Romo can step in. And even if it's against NFLE, he can still be evaluated to show that he can do that. Right now, nobody knows one way or the other.

I think going to NFLE is the kiss of death. I think any realistic expectations of Henson ever starting for the Cowboys just went to about zero.

Yes, in the NFL, I would love to see what Romeo the Clown and The Baseball player bring to the table. In Europe, I just wont get worked up over it.

And how is that not the scope of the thread? The question was what do yo want to see in Henson when he goes to Europe, my answer was nothing :D .

I was thinking the same thing. I think Keith Davis was either the NFLE defensive player of the year or just a heck of a player over there or both and I would 99% of fans would like to see this guy relegated to ST duty in 2006.

Europe is Europe, America is America, two totally different animals.

It will be nice to see the kid get playing time, man he better show something or he may get the boot like Hutchinson.

If I were him, I would keep my head up and probably look at it as a time to get experience and a way to audition for another team, as he will be sporting one of these:

As long as Duane Robert Parcells of New Jersey is the head coach of this team.

The diference between if Henson does great in Europe is that if Henson stayed in college and went to the NFL draft he woulda been one of the 1st 5 players drafted. Maybe the #1 pick.

Cant say that about Keith Davis.

Well, BP is signed to 2007 and Henson to 2011.

BP may or may not like Henson, but he's still Jerry's pick.

Keep living in the past and hugging those Super Bowl trophies....

I am only concerned about what is going on on January 14, 2006 at 2:15 PM CST and forward.

The difference is that Davis is at least good enough to get on the field in some capacity and Henson is not after 2 years.

Thats the main thing I wanna see. Is he actually paying attention to what Drew Bledsoe and BP are trying to accomplish? I think he has the other items covered.

The kid is finally going to get a shot. I hope he gets with a team with at least a decent OL! I am looking forward to watching him. I still think he may have a future with the Cowboys.:)

the Cowboys should just allocate our whole starting Oline to Europe to block for Henson

they are just a step above the NFLE Oline standard anyways, and don't think the NFLE head people would see it as a problem or competitive advantage :laugh2:

yeah, Parcells is crossing his fingers that his 3rd round investment, that could have been used in his quest to "win now", fails....:bang2:
