Quite honestly, I'd be shocked to see us blown out this season -- with the possible exception being the New Orleans game. If they get a 10-point lead and Romo gets picked off, that one could get away in a hurry. I'd be nothing less than blown away if they get blown out by anyone else.

44-6 was an aberration, even for the teams of years past that couldn't get it done in the playoffs.
You thought that 44-6 was an aberration, but others didn't. I'm still curious as to where those folks ran off to.

I didn't think Dallas would get blown out but I thought they would lose.

Basically just home team pick. I thought the teams were evenly matched and I thought the home team would win. Divisional games are hard fought games no matter the records of the teams so I usually just look at 3-3 being the divisional record.
Nothing's wrong with that assumption. I thought that the game would be close. Some didn't believe the game would be close at all and Dallas would both be looking at 5-3 and highly embarrassed last night. Why? I have no clue. Maybe they'll provide some insight into their prediction a.k.a. 'The Eagles will blow out Dallas' because _______________ (fill in the blank).

Lack of trust in Wade as a Head Coach; and having the team well prepared for this type of important game on the road

I did not predict a blowout I just did not trust this team to win this type of game in this type of situation
Thanks for the reply and thanks to everyone who has responded. So far, those who have commented had doubts about whether the team would win or lose for some reason or another. That's understandable. This team has a lot of talent and is still improving week after week.

My question was really for those who said that Philly would (figuratively) wipe the field with Dallas. They haven't replied yet. Maybe they didn't see the thread last night?

Never felt like we were going to lose to these guys. I think we'll still lose a couple games but honestly, I think we can beat anybody this year. Will we? I don't know but I know I don't fear December this year, nor do I fear the playoffs. The only thing I really fear this year is injury.

If the shoe fits, what had or had not this team done, which made you feel that Philadelphia was going to blow out this team, should they had won?

Probably the most poorly worded question I have ever read but...

I didn't think we'd get blown out, but I certainly did not have 100% confidence in a victory either simply because of the doubt this team has allowed me to rightfully harbor given some of the let-downs we've had in recent years

However, I'm 100% satisfied with the victory and I'm proud of them

I didn't think we would get blown out. Although I did have my concerns as to whether we would actually compete, or have one of those "take a step back" games.

To be honest, the game went about how I thought it would. I expected a higher scoring affair, but it really came down to a play here, a play there. That's pretty much what I thought it would be. I'm glad we won, but the game could have gone either way. Philly moved the ball on us well for some stretches there. I'm glad that Philly finally matched us in the "shoot yourself in the foot category". A lot of penalties on both teams (and a lot of blatant ones that weren't called).

I'll take the win and be happy with it. I expect a similar game in the re-match.

You're the first one here who has said that. Thanks. :)

HEY!

Roy E. Williams had 75 yards receiving yesterday. How did Terrell Owens do yesterday?

Oh drat. The Bills had the week off. My bad. :)

Never had any doubts that we wouldn't win last night, let alone get blown out!
