Now that we know this team has no chance competing with SF, where do the Boys go from here?

You can say sure it’s only 1 game, any given sunday, blah blah, but the boys could play the niners at full strength 17 times and they would go 0-17, so where do they go from here? Trade and sell, trade and mortgage the future, fire the coach? Because reality is the status quo means we are just wasting everyone’s time
This season will be nothing different from any other season...............we beat up on the scrub teams, lose to the good teams, maybe squeak into the playoffs and win a wildcard game and then get sent home in the divisional round when we have to actually play somebody legit.

You know, the same thing that has happened to this team the past 30 years.

Did some of you guys actually think this year was going to be different:huh:

Best thing that could happen to this team is miss the playoffs, the Prescott fiasco has to end and maybe missing the playoffs will make Jerry realize he’s not worth extending.
Jerry will re-sign Dak to $50 mil a year. We all know it. Don't expect anything different.

We are also at a point come playoffs we need the eagles to beat the 9ers because we beat the eagles every year but SF is our daddy

We need more players with heart. Our whole team got punked, BIG time. And Dak ain't it bro.... this was his moment to shine, win or lose.... he failed and so did the rest of our team.

I’d legit find someone dumb enough to trade for Dak and start the rebuild
No trade clause and it'd put them in cap hell for 2024.

Only real option for moving on from him as a post June 1st cut in 2024 or convince him to accept a potential trade in the same year post June, which he likely would not.

Easy, easy way forward if I am the GM. Im not blowing it all up, just going in a different direction.

Im trading Pollard tomorrow if I can get anything more than a 4th round for him. Im trading Dak in the offseason before he gets even older. Im trading Lamb as well if I can get a first and 3rd at least.

Taking all that money and picks and start filling in the gaps. Revamping the Oline, getting a stud DT in here. Get another talented young QB in here to compete with Lance.

Firing McCarthy if this continues. Either go with Quinn or i want a younger offensive minded guy. Give me a young mind like what the Dolphins have a kid like that with modern offensive concepts. Motion the whole 9.

Getting rid of all the older safeties. Trade em if you can. I like the younger kids better anyway. Hooker and Kearse are toast.

Extend Dak to a guaranteed $50 million per season for at least 10 more seasons. Just keep making the playoffs and pray for a miracle.

I think some things are pretty clear:

MM’s playcalling is really bad. This probably is his last year.
The best of Dak are probably in the past. They can’t extend him.
Pollard is not an every down back.
The Joneses aren’t all in. 49ers and eagles act like there isn’t a cap, Stephen jones wants to hide behind it. They just want to do enough to sell jerseys. Hard to get excited about this team when it’s been same story for years.

Well you spend a lot of time in the film room.

-Add more motion on offense
-More RB screens
- Delayed handoffs
-Counter runs

The Cowboys FO/Coaching doesn’t have the bravery to do what is right. By the time they are willing the season will be lost just like tonight’s game.

SF isn't the only team to worry about. Losing to them and even getting blown out like tonight was not surprising because they're a great team. But if even Arizona showed that they could beat the Cowboys then we are in big trouble going up against any team that won't be battling for the bottom-5 of the league.

Wild Card ceiling yet never really a true playoff contender is right in Jerry's comfort zone.

I shake my head at anyone who truly believes this quarterback could beat 3 to 4 consecutive playoff teams in the post season.

You really can't do anything until QB1's cap hit is off the books and you can seriously take a look at drafting and or developing the future.

In the meantime you can continue to beat up on piss poor teams like you do every season, but it'll never translate to playoff success.
You? We are not playing the games bro. It’s entertainment. And get off board!
