Now that we know this team has no chance competing with SF, where do the Boys go from here?

you shouldn't allocate 25% of you cap spend on an inept bus driver, can get that for a fraction of the price

It’s time to fire MM, DQ, cut Dak in June 2024. It’s time to bench #1, draft some new safeties, draft bigger linebackers, draft bigger receivers… sign a young head coach that wants to win…. and it’s time for Jerry to retire!

The Joneses would rather be mediocre every year and give fans hope they can maybe win one than go all in for a couple years and then be terrible for a couple years. SF got to where it is being god awful. Low draft picks, years of being terrible to make them awesome now. The Joneses want to do just enough to be a playoff team to keep fans interested and spending.

You can say sure it’s only 1 game, any given sunday, blah blah, but the boys could play the niners at full strength 17 times and they would go 0-17, so where do they go from here? Trade and sell, trade and mortgage the future, fire the coach? Because reality is the status quo means we are just wasting everyone’s time
To Davy jones locker!!!

Give 4 an extension and alleviate the the 2024 cap burden. After that...rinse, wash, repeat.

Cowboys!

If they’re not gonna blow it up and get a new QB then they need more speed at WR and an every down RB. That’s just the start. They need a couple of LBs, too.

Guess one have to ask themselves, if we draw them in the PO in SF (really don’t matter), what are our chances and the team after losing 3 straight and the O not scoring over 10 in any of the games.

These games are so hard to understand. The 49ers clearly had a better game plan than Dallas. It looked like Dallas used the same game plan they would use for any other team they played, at least on offense. On defense the Cowboys were just out matched. Purdy was just deadly accurate tonight. Hitting his receivers in stride and letting them run.

I do think the Cowboys let this game get away from them a few times. The 15 yard penalties in the first half were killers. Both were committed by Donovan Wilson. One came on a failed 3rd down try and resulted in a new set of downs for SF. They used those downs to score another TD putting the game out of reach of this offense.

But to me the Cowboys game plans really were poorly thought out. The short passing game and outside running game is exactly the opposite of what you need to do to beat the 49ers. You have to run at them when you run and you have to throw downfield in the passing game. This is their weakness. I mean the Rams made 28 first downs against SF. The Cowboys had 8, the fewest of any team the 49ers have played this year, including the Giants. I know the Cowboys have better personnel than those other teams on offense. The game plan was awful and McCarthy is to blame.

On defense, well, if you can't rush the passer and he can throw a football through a paper clip 40 yards downfield, you are behind the 8 ball. The best pass defense the Cowboys had all night was Hankins knocking down two passes. IF Quinn had a plan, it was a pretty bad plan.

The Cowboys will put out new merchandise and we will still keep buying.
