Now we root for

With CAR about to win. We need them and NO to win out and a DET loss. That week 17 game should be meaningful to CAR with division up for grabs

I didn't think the Lions losing would be an issue but...they have Cinci next week who has all but quit because Lewis is out. Then they have the Pack, who COULD beat them if Rodgers plays but will he? I wouldn't play him in a meaningless game. If we get beat out of a playoff spot by the Lions....damn.

All that has to happen is we win 2 out of the next 3 games; Atlanta needs to cooperate by winning just two also, but the Browns have to play their part and win just one. Then, the Dolphins will grab the last wildcard spot and we then sneak into the first-round with a bye.

... cowboys

The other stuff doesn't matter if the Cowboys don't hold up their end

I've been worried about the Lions since just before Thanksgiving. Not because they're good by any stretch but their schedule down the stretch was/is BUTTER soft. I thought after losing to MIN on Thanksgiving they'd find a way to blow one, but the schedule just might not allow it.

Tampa and Atlanta are like most teams....their division games are usually tight and not indicative of their overall records. Lifetime they are 24-24 against each other, with Tampa winning 3 of the last 5 and 5 of the last 10. No such thing as a gimme.

Someone needs to send a gift basket to Winston tonight containing 2oz of blow, 5lbs of crab legs and a call girl or two. Lets get that boy ready to play :muttley:

Blank made sure Goodell's minions took care of his team against the Saints. Jolly Roger got nicely compensated, I am sure.

I get that, but Cincy could still pull one out at home and even if Rodgers doesn't play Hundley is capable of filling in.

I'd rather have the Panthers lose next week. And don't care much about what NO does in week 17 unless they lose next week.

We really needed Carolina to lose today guys. People like to feel good about Rodgers being out by they werent even our biggest problem.

I think it’s pretty much a better wrap.

We need the Falcons to lose 2 out of their next 3 AND...

We need the Lions to lose.

Lions aren’t losing again even if Falcons lose 2 out their next 3. I said this 2 weeks ago about the Lions...easiest December in football. They go to Cinci and they’re home against the Packers who were just essentially eliminated and should probably shut Rodgers down.

If the Bucs upset the Falcons tomorrow, maybe I’ll believe but none of the remaining scenarios seem realistic.

I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised to see Atlanta lose to Carolina and New Orleans. I won't go as far as to bet on it straight up but I like the odds.
I am of the same mind, my friend.
