Now we should have our head coach pretty quickly a right?

Havent posted in months as I gave up on this season long before it even started. Thought I'd check in to see what was happening and all I see are post about who is going to be the next coach. I swear some of yall will never learn. It doesn't matter who the next head coach is as long as JJ is involved. Folks we have had more head coaches over the past 28 year then we have had playoff victories. Let that sink in for a moment. All we re going to get is another Yes man for JJ. Nothing else is going to change.

IMO, the only way Jerry salvages this with the fans is if he hires Deion.

Not that the fans can't be wrong. They probably are but that's the only hire of the guys they will talk to that would get approval and excitement from the majority of the fan base.
I agree. Now Jerry will need to save face. His back is up against it. A Deion hire coupled with a great staff, solid free agency/draft, all will be forgiven quickly because the optics will be much more tolerable. But if we see some combo of a Ron Rivera , Schottenheimer hire ...something similar, the fans will gradually stop paying mind to the team. Right now fans are questioning if we are serious about winning games or are we a museum.

It better be Kliff Kingsbury.

That’s the most obvious hire they could possibly make.

Stop with the Kellen Moore and Robert Saleh garbage.

Brian Schottenheimer? Shut up.

Go get Kingsbury and let him work.
He failed with Murray who if I recall correctly you said was better than Dak and it wasn’t close. So why would coming here do anything good?

I would be fine to thrilled with any of Glenn, Salah or Johnson

I’d be pretty underwhelmed by Moore or Kingsbury

Deion I don’t really have an opinion on, he scares me because of his lack of professional coaching experience and playcalling experience but it’s undeniable that he’s had success everywhere he’s been. I just worry he’s a guy meant to be a college coach.

Now that Detroit has choked, and Dan Campbell’s tears are sweeter than your favorite mixed drink. Let’s move on to their coordinators..

It shouldn’t take long to interview, Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson - you would assume.

And speed is of the essence here if you really love Aaron Glenn then go sign Aaron Glenn tomorrow before the New York Jets do - right ?

We’ve interviewed Robert Salah we’ve interviewed Kellen Moore. We’ve interviewed Leslie Frazier - Deion let’s call it an interview.
We already know Brian Schottenheimer.
The only two left are the Detroit failures.

Unless Kliff Kingsbury has crept into Jerry’s mind.

Get this done immediately
Glenn put on quite the performance last night. Need to get us some of that for sure...

You think Kliff is going to have as much of success as he did with Jayden with cement feet Dak?

Most likely. Maybe since Jimmy Johnson also endorsed K. Moore, Jerry will do the opposite!! On can hope!! LOL

I dislike this very much, but I also disliked the idea of retaining McCarthy.

The only hope one can have is that McCarthy handcuffed him and there's more to his offense. We all know he does well enough with elite players, but I'm yet to see him as a coach who can scheme his way to victory.

This is very much a Jerry hire so he can stomp around the room preaching about how he discovered KMs genius. What an eye for talent....sigh...

AND I'm not even addressing whether or not I believe he's a leader of men.

Jerry is going to milk this search and make sure it's announced before the SB to get attention.

We will interview a bunch of coaches, then hire the guy no one else hires because he will be cheaper

Jerry is going to milk this until the summer for all we know - he loves his headlines.

Expect a high ceiling to be foregone for a lower floor. Gotta win those 7-9 games.

Jerry needs to stay relevant to keep his television streaming romance going….and of course pocketing the money from fools that still buy into his crap.

Meanwhile he will build his own Dan Campbell and eventually take over the WORLD!! Mwuahahahahah!
Can't market a 3 win team for the now. You can market a 7-9 win team for the now.

I do not believe they ever officially requested to interview Ben or aaron and now it is likely too late for either. We know its too late for Ben.

Nope. Finding the right guy for jerry's twisted system takes time.
