Im a T.O fan , this move makes absolutley no since i understand this guy has brought drama to this team, but alot of this was blown out of proportion.

Its ok to be a TO fan. However, nothing was blown out of porportion. Jerry doesn't cut a guy and take a 9m cap hit if things are blown out of porportion.

Werder was right. Most of you were wrong. The guy was a cancer to the team. I will miss his production too. But I won't miss him. And my guess is 90% of the players won't miss him either.

Now there's a bet. You will See Romo's TO number go down considerably. No more forcing the ball to TO when he shouldn't be.

I agree with the RBs' and the TEs' , but i dont think roy is going to run past corners to the post and i dont think crayton is going to get open anytime soon.

Now what do we do, we dont have a number 1 reciever on this team. Roy isnt a #1 guy, crayton sucks, Austin isnt going to come back next year, Hurd is a solid 5 reciver, this team has been a huge disapointment in the past year we all can agree. But at this point we are back in rebuilding mode, and its going to take another 5 years to get this team back on track, People that glad T.O is gone your are crazy, this man brought 100% on the field , you should be ashamed of yourselfs for wanting this guy to go, I dont want to hear any *****ing during the season about this **** .

I have mixed emotions about this. TO needed to be cut because he's too old to be worth the hassle. It's just that simple. I'm gong to miss him (when he played like it was 1999), but are you really going to miss the distractions?

Jerry is caught between a rock and a hard place. You are right when you say Roy Williams #11 is not a #1 WR. I don't think he'll be worth anywhere near what was given for him. But if you are trying to make this team "Romo friendly" having TO and RW would not be a good combination.

The sad part is that already we are having to let players go which will take time to replace and the years we had the roster together laden w/ talent, we didn't even win a PO game. I don't think 2009 will be any better than 2008, and I don't think Romo is the answer either. But that is a topic for another day...

roy williams and crayton. that's a pretty good 1-2 punch on paper. hopefully it will play out.

and who knows, if hurd gets healthy, he might even be the 2. he seemed to be improving greatly before he got hurt.

It won't be if no one's scared of the passing attack. Balance is the key.
