I'm still salty about not picking Mendenhall, I'm not gonna get over that. Hopefullt Felix can make me change my mind but I think Mendenhall was the much better player.

You don't draft people to be back-up's in the first round, you draft the best available and that was Mendenhall IMO.

What was Mendenhall going to be? A back up to MB3. Either way the runningbacks we drafted was going to be a backup. I will admit that I was hoping to hear his name called but I'm not disappointed in getting Jones. He is a change of tempo back that will keep the defense on their toes and guessing. Plus we get a kick returner out of that pick. 2 birds with 1 stone.

I never said I could do anything about it, I couldn't do anything about us losing in the playoff's either....didn't make it easier to get over. In time I will get over it but for the next while I'll be salty about not picking Mendenhall who could be an every-down back if anything happens with Barber.

I'm not mad about picking Felix by any means, I think he will be a good back, but I would have just prefered Mendenhall.
