Nugget on Amari Cooper

This. Hope Linehan mixes it up early.
yup...and by mixing it up,it doesn't mean Jett sweeps to Tavon. They will be ready for that. It will mean playaction and RPO's..AND BOOTS. Safe passes and a deep shot to set the tone. I think we can hit Gallup or Tavon early on.

got to get Cooper going early and expose the inexperienced Seattle db's. No reason why we shouldn't be able to win against that secondary.

He averaged more yards per game than any WR traded mid season since 1970.

yeah, but... he's done just about all of that in like 3 games. Although he's been a very good addition just from a team standpoint, defenses do have to stay honest and account for him or get torched, we still need him to be much more consistent going forward. He and Dak need to get on the same page again.

I don't think the Raiders counted on what the Cowboys or the Bears would do this season. They gave up Cooper and Mack for what is projected to be a 24th and 28th pick. Either way, it will be two late first round picks. I don't think that's what they were looking for.
Almost 2nd rounders really. I think we did well getting Cooper with his experience already vetted instead of a rookie who needs development when we already have one in Gallup.

I'm still not certain about Cooper, I have to admit. His receiving yards in games for the Cowboys:
217
180
76
75
58
36
32
31
20

Reminds me a bit of his games for the Raiders:
128
116
17
10
9

Don't get me wrong. He's helped the team a lot, just by virtue of having a competent credible outisde receiver on the field. He's a vast upgrade from the guys we were running out there. We don't make the playoffs this year without him. I'm just not convinced he'll prove to be that stud #1 who will justify the money he's going to be paid. I hope so, but that's a lot of games with minimal productivity.

Raiders lost out BIG time on those trades.

That’s probably not saying much.

Exactly, top five talents rarely get traded and when they do, they rarely get traded to the perfect situation where they are the missing piece on an offense that already has four Pro Bowlers.

I like his ability a lot. He does seem a little moody and sensitive though. As long as it doesn’t effect his play on the field I love the move, but honestly how can his attitude not effect his play.

That's my opinion as well. But who knows, the Raiders may get two really good players. I just think that trading a really talented WR and one of the best defensive players I have ever seen for picks between 25-28 in the first round is an overall loss. Not what the Raiders envisioned.

I expect Seattle will load the box and make Dak beat them with his arm. Its that simple. He must be GOOD DAK early on.
People been saying that all year. Zeke still has a ton of yards. The Cowboys must be able to run the ball to win.
