Number 1 reason why we'll beat the Giants

If Dez Bryant plays in this game, he is going to take it upon himself to carry the team. We didn't need that against Arizona, but we do need it here and now and he knows it. He has missed time and he is mad at himself for it, I'm sure. He will unleash on the Giants similarly to how Hardy unleashed on the Patriots.

Oh and maybe Garrett and Linehan will actually put together a game plan during the bye week.

Dez won't be playing. We win if our pass rush and d shows up, and CMike gets enough carries to make a difference. Leary wasn't producing at lg, so Collins should be better I hope. And lastly, no WEEDEN! We will at LEAST attempt a downfield pass more than once a game. And having Brice Butler will help in that.

It'll be the defense that wins the game vs the Giants. We don't even know if Dez is going to play, and even if he does play, we don't know if he'll be his normal self. Eli is due for some turnovers against the Cowboys and I expect the offense to do just enough. We'll see though.

Bryant is more than ten days away. Doing rehab work is a lot different than running full strength on the field, making cuts, and then practicing. We will be lucky if we can get him back for Seattle.

Why would Dez be practicing on a bye week? He will have plenty of time to actually practice next week.

The Giants will be beat up, injured and not able to manage. Still will be relatively close but Dallas wins powered by its defense.

I don't think Dez plays by the way.

Even if Dez doesn't play, maybe Cassel can exploit the Giants secondary since Prince will be out for at least 4 weeks and they're down to 3rd string LBs. And with The Kraken, Eli won't be able to wait for OBJ to get open.

The Seattle game won't matter if the Giants beat the Eagles and us. They'll have a 3 game lead and probably the tiebreaker. Dez will find a way to play.

Giants lost a three game lead in 2012.

So yeah the game would matter.

Maybe Dez has a chance.

"He has made a lot of progress," Garrett said Wednesday. "He is moving around. I think he feels good."

Dez won't be playing? Hmm I guess you're some sort of doctor that has extensive insight on Dez's particular situation. Tell me more.

If Dez doesn't play, Giants will win a laugher.
If Dez does play, we will still need an excellent game by the defense (including the 4th quarter) and for Cassel to avoid turnovers....then we have a chance.

Did the Cowboys ever disclose where exactly the break was on Dez's 5th metatarsal?

A laugher? The Giants couldn't even blow out the 49ers at home. What makes you think they'll blow out Dallas? Hilarious how people act like the Giants are some juggernaut.

Watch and see. The Giants offense is a juggernaut. First time around they scored plenty, and Romo won on what was a miracle finish. Eli and his receivers and RBs vs our backup QB, receivers without Dez, and RB is a total mismatch. Our only chance of scoring enough to beat Eli is if Dez is out there to open up things for everyone else, and even then I fear Cassell will not know his receivers well enough to anticipate. We need Dez and ball protection.
