Number 1 reason why we'll beat the Giants

Watch and see. The Giants offense is a juggernaut. First time around they scored plenty, and Romo won on what was a miracle finish. Eli and his receivers and RBs vs our backup QB, receivers without Dez, and RB is a total mismatch. Our only chance of scoring enough to beat Eli is if Dez is out there to open up things for everyone else, and even then I fear Cassell will not know his receivers well enough to anticipate. We need Dez and ball protection.

Did you even watch the game? The Giants only managed 9 points by themselves. The Cowboys handed them 17 points on a silver platter. Nothing about their offense screams juggernaut. Beckham Jr. is banged up as is Randle. That's their two top recievers. Eli has had a decent start to the year, but we all know he's a turnover machine waiting to happen and it's only a matter of time. You talk about Dallas needing a miracle finish to beat the Giants yet the same was true on Sunday night for them against San Fran. The Giants are 25th in rushing so their backs are no better than ours obviously. Not having Dez would hurt, but Cassel is an upgrade over Weeden and he won't miss wide open recievers like Weeden did. The pass rush will be even better than the one that smothered Eli in Week 1.

I don't know how any WR can carry the team if you don't have a QB that can get him the ball.

Oh we got one......We just refuse to play him............

Dez won't be playing. We win if our pass rush and d shows up, and CMike gets enough carries to make a difference. Leary wasn't producing at lg, so Collins should be better I hope. And lastly, no WEEDEN! We will at LEAST attempt a downfield pass more than once a game. And having Brice Butler will help in that.

Dez will play.

huh? the giants are winning games because their defense is over-acheiving despite their lack of talent, it might change though with the loss of Prince

I'm really excited to see this defense. Not to mention the Giants are suffering their own share of injuries recently.

They haven't faced any explosive offenses since Atlanta.

A laugher? The Giants couldn't even blow out the 49ers at home. What makes you think they'll blow out Dallas? Hilarious how people act like the Giants are some juggernaut.

If the niners DB could actually catch the ball, Eli would have thrown the game losing interception on that final drive.

Randy Gregory. The DL was all over Brady who is rarely pressured. They'll feast on the Giants line. Gregory got past Flowers with ease in Week 1. Beckham Jr. probably won't be 100 percent so I like our chances even without Dez.

I agree with you.

I think that it's the defense coming together more than anything else that gives me some hope.

As long as Cassel can make the offense competent, it will be a huge upgrade, and along with a defense that i feel will put consistant pressure in Eli, I like our chances for a win.

If Dez Bryant plays in this game, he is going to take it upon himself to carry the team. We didn't need that against Arizona, but we do need it here and now and he knows it. He has missed time and he is mad at himself for it, I'm sure. He will unleash on the Giants similarly to how Hardy unleashed on the Patriots.

Oh and maybe Garrett and Linehan will actually put together a game plan during the bye week.

The #1 reason is because you need a thread topic.

The first time around they scored plenty? I think their offense accounted for a whole... 9 points? They scored because their D got some extremely fortunate turnovers and we just missed some equally unfortunate turnovers. Let's not pretend that they were an offensive powerhouse in our first game, without the turnovers they wouldn't have even been in the game - something that a lot of people seem to forget now.

Still, if you look at their defensive depth chart you would expect them to be a bottom 5 defense

The Giants defense this year reminds me of our defense last year. They don't have a lot of wow players, but they all swarm and attack the ball and generate turnovers.

Luckily our defense will match up with their offense and not our offense.
