Jay, the debate isn't about showing remorse. And I think all posters understand injuries are part of the game and that good teams need to have depth.

The entire point is that it's low-class to mock players when they get hurt. What's going on on this board is the same thing that went on in Philly, or it's not appreciably different enough to matter.

Let's say you pulled a hammy. Which would you rather want? Me to laugh? Or me to say "oh well" and walk away.

Stop using this as a means to single me out. Get over it! Big deal, I'm laughing. It's not much worse then what 90% of the people in here when they say "oh well" I wont lose sleep"

Now can you please stop acting like Mother Teresa and judging people on the internet please?;)

Too bad-seriously, he's a good young player and while I 'hate' the Giants, Eagles and foreskins, I don't in any way wish injuries on guys: bad karma IMO. Hope he gets better in time for Austin, RW, Hurd or any other Cowboy to burn him in the home opener in a few weeks.

No, I know, I was just talking about my personal feelings toward it. Outright rooting for injuries I feel is wrong, and agree that it's bad karma--but I'd be lying if I said that it didn't bring me just a little bit of joy to see these teams going through what we did last season. That's all.

this sucks.....Ross is one of, if not, my favorite CB in the NFL....definitely one of my favorite Longhorns ever.

BTW, what is closer to hell, pulling a hamstring or pulling a groin?

The Daily News is behind. Ross practiced today for the first time after coming back from his hamstring injury.

During the practice today he reinjured the same left hamstring, hence the confusion.

never pulled either biggems: but I BELIEVE a groin is worse: especially for a DB, who has to turn, pivot, twist, sprint and run constantly. Hammy is now picnic...but groin is worse IMO. Especially if it morphs into the dreaded "sports hernia"

Both of their CB's are average IMO.

Thats the advantage of a great pass rush though, it alleviates the need for great cover people.

I'd have to say the groin.

It takes forever to heal up and the littlest thing, like getting out of a car, can reaggrivate it.
