Attached to his tweets were pictures of him wearing upwards of SEVENTEEN jerseys at one time, making him look like Homer Simpson in his moo-moo (please don’t correct my phonetically-correct spelling of “muu-muu.”) These pictures were instantly posted on countless hobby-related forums and message-boards. The fact that 16 of the 17 jerseys don’t even touch the player made collectors feel cheated.

Interesting.

I think the allegations would be pretty tough to prove in court.

Cops would need a search warrant for Eli's house(s) and find the real stuff as proof the other stuff was fake. It could be done. I just wonder if a judge would sign off on such a warrant.

If proven true in a court of law however, Eli and the Giants would be a real trouble.

Why. Just let the other owners Judge the Giant owners like they did in the Jerry and Dan case.
But in the long run the league would only fine the Giants nothing more.

heh - I say charge them all with criminal fraud and lock them up. Memorabilia dealers have been locked up for less. Can you imagine Eli's facial expression in prison? lol

I just think Goodell will have no other choice but to take more drastic sanctions against the Giants if found guilty in a court of law. This is a fraud case and the NFL has a reputation to uphold. If Eli, Giants staff and management are found guilty, Goodell can't just sit by and ignore it. He will have to do something.

But it has to be proven in a court of law first. And that will take some time, I would think.

The hate for Lee is strong in this thread.

I think most of us all the love guy...when he plays. But we are getting dangerously close to having to slap the "injury prone" label on him and considering him someone that cannot be counted on.

I read a article before the season that was talking about which players still playing would make the HOF.

Eli was in the guaranteed lock players. lol

So was Ware and Witten.

Sounds like E-Lie really is appropriate in more ways than one.

I wonder how KJJ will spin, defend, and praise E-Lie on this one in a futile attempt to elevate the goofball over Romo.

If Pburgh is gonna lose a late pick for their coach standing on the field, then these scumbags need to lose at least a 1st and a 3rd and maybe some cap money for their selfishness. I despise the Giants organization more than any other in professional sports and this is just another notch in the belt.

I read in the article that they already have emails from the actual NY Giants email account of the equipment manager...with him talking about certain items and referencing them as "BS" items. As in..phony...fake...lie...

The league will disavow them and leave them hanging.
