NY Giants GM Gettleman Retires

Just like another profession when they know they are about to be fired. Retire first. Saves the embarrassment and leaves open possibility of returning in a different role somewhere else. Coaches cant do it, but front office people can.

Can you imagine the interview for next GM?

So let me make sure I got this:

I have a crap roster with only 2M in cap space.
No real QB
Minimal impact players
And my coach HAS to be joe judge?
or they find a GM that is very good and his demand is we fire Judge and the entire coaching staff..i mean just because hes not let go now doesn't mean in month he isnt let go..we didn't truly let go of garret until way late in the process's said process, pun intended.:muttley:

that is funny

u let gettlemen “retire” after he go like 4-12 every single year but u fire jerry reese in the middle of the season after he win 2 super bowl

that is a joke!!! to me!

Letting go of Garrett was itself a process. :muttley:

Sounds like a 'hire from within' if I've ever seen one.

Anyone who drafts a RB in the top 5 of the draft should retire because they're out of touch with the modern NFL.
