Jerry never hired McCarthy because Jason Garrett told him to. McCarthy was hired because Jerry was looking for an experienced head coach who had won a Super Bowl.

I would take McCarthy over Garrett and would never long for a Garrett team. But it's time to move on from McCarthy unless this season drastically turns around.

This team has way too many good players to get blown out like they did yesterday. The core makeup of these teams isn't drastically different than it was last year when they met but they seem worlds apart this year.
