First rd- hope a top LT prospect falls to us. Second rd- look for a Good sized G/C prospect. We really could use one that can play both well. And I would use a couple of late rd picks to get some more developmental prospects. Because right now all we have is Brewster and the more I look at him the more I think he is at best a guard prospect. Above all I want to get rid of the PROCTOLOGIST!!!

I hope we focus on the following positons,

OT, OG, ILB, S/CB. (I wouldn't be upset if we landed a DL or another WR either.)

But with respect to OT, OG, ILB, S/CB, I hope we just take the best player available, unless a top WR or DL landed at that spot.

I have to think that at least at 27, we are bound to get a top quality OL, ILB, or a Secondary player.

We're probably more likely to get a G/C late in the first round.

I would be fine with a top OG with our first pick.

We need someone who can play soon- that pretty much means a high pick. Honestly I would not be against using this draft on the O line like we did last years on LBs and ST.

Well, I think up to 3 rookie OL could make the roster next season, though more likely, only up to 2 would.

Assuming we keep our starting 5 OL, Free and Brewster remain as well.

If we keep 10 OL on the roster, possibly 3 rookies could make it. Though I think that would be unlikely. I could see a scenario where 2 rookie make it however.

I don't see any room for another ILB. James, brooking, carp, jwill, hodge. Doubt we keep 6 ILB's.

I wouldn't be shocked if Adams is the LT next season and Columbo is either released or benched in favor of Free.

Free is probably going to be a starter. Jerry has already pushed that idea.

Adams OR Columbo will not be a starter come next September.

I agree, unless someone gets released i dont think well go after one. Although i do believe that its a great need for a faster younger ILB hopefully hodge or Jwill will fill that role. Bobby has been good, but not great.
Some OL and possibly a WR/KR/PR or a CB/KR/PR like Javier Arenas or even Shipley would be just great in my mind.

That is EXACTLY how I feel. The positions you listed first are certainly priorities and need to be addressed, but if a top WR or DL slip - you grab him. Top guys at those positions can really make a difference and we could use another playmaker at WR /DL. Austin and Ratliff are great, and I have high hopes for Ogletree, but don't pass up top quality at those positions.

Id be more than fine with it. We need a replacement for Kosier moreso than at any other point in the line.

I hope Mike Iupati falls to us in the 1st, and hope a good center/tackle prospect falls to us in the 2nd. Preferably a center in the 2nd. The coaching staff seems to like Brewster, so hopefully he could be an adequate tackle (even though it looks like he may project better to guard). Then I would be okay with us taking a tackle later on in the draft as well.

How can you possibly say that Free is better then any tackle in this draft?

How do you know this?

Very good question, nobody knows the answer though at this point.
