Makes you wonder if they invest in a right tackle in the draft and even maybe another left guard what this team could look like. This line is really good, but I feel they are missing that one guy that wants to fight to the end and just ruin a defense. A loud mouth of sorts that just gets in the head of the defense.

Draft is full of mid round guards who could make a difference. OT is one of the strongest positions in this draft.

I wouldn't want any mid round guard. Seems this team does better with higher picks along the line. Just based upon empirical evidence and my own opinion.

Wait what?

Leary has been excellent.

Ummm, he's been okay and I do like him as a swing guard. I wonder about his knees and about his ability to just dominate. However, you can't have rock stars everywhere.

The team would look like it does now. Only with a QB one year older and closer to retirement.

LOL. Are you sure? I think we should be building a line that has NOTHING to do with Romo. I want a line that can pass block well and can open holes that any back could run through. I don't want anymore of what we've had in the past.

The weakness of the defense is glaring and yet you still have those that wish to dedicate more resources on our already top-tier O line.

I really see your point. I have been saying for years you draft for the OL and DL each and every year. Skilled players are easier to find. The OL is more important than a DL in that the OL unit must play like a true unit with a singular goal. The DL is often a set of people that can rotate in and out without much regard to the play at hand. JMO

I'm not sure we don't have it. I think a defense that could create some pressure on opposing QBs would go a long way to make our offense better.
Same as our O is doing for our D now.

The pass blocking would prevent me from putting them anywhere near that high. I saw a stat last week that this season Romo has been sacked at the highest rate (% of pass plays) in his career.

Really? That is surprising tbh considering his mobility.
