Going to Cabo had nothing to do with the loss by the Cowboys. It was a total non-story made a story by a media wanting to find a reason for why the Cowboys loss and trying to write the narrative that Romo isn't serious about winning.

I do think without the bye week, it's different by far that that 2 hour flight to Cabo.
But there are people in LA or even Houston that have daily commutes that long.

I got no issues with players enjoying their downtime--and the Cabo criticism when they were staying in a house and watching game tape over a bye weekend was always redonkulous, but if me and 8 of my friends ever pose like that on a boat, you guys have my permission to hand me a rock and hit me in the back of the head with an oar or an anchor chain and tell me to say 'hi' to Poseidon for you. Sheesh.
