Romo and company had 2 weeks off, and took a few days of which the team was not required to practice.
Not saying this was right, as many fans thought they should have been locked in a room to study film...have no life....

But taking a night to party when a game 6 or 7 days later....that is a bit different.....

Romo and Witten going to Cabo had nothing to do with the loss that occurred two weeks later. That this is still seen as a negative and had an impact on the game at the time almost ten years later shows that some people don't understand simple cause and effect. Might as well presume that some unknown voodoo magician poked needles into dolls of Tony also had such an impact. This was just some media ploy to cause a distraction that was totally irrelevant in practice or on game day.

Maybe if fasano had gone to Cabo, he would have caught the TD pass from romo, not Jackie Smithed it. Maybe had reeves gone, he wouldn't have been toasted right down the field by Smith, just before the half. Had Hurd gone, maybe he catches that ball that would have given us a huge gain. Had Crayton gone, maybe he catches one of the two in the corner of the end zone. Had Barber gone, maybe he doesn't run out of gas at halftime. If TO had gone, he still drops those passes.
