The Cowboys have made their offer. They are smartly and clearly not going to break the bank for a twice recently injured WR for half the season. And they are probably smartly holding out on not doing a long term deal.

So Jerry and everyone in Cowboys nation is clearly trying to woo him to take less money and join the Cowboys.

Good lad, I agree.
But would it not be peachy keen if JERRY HAD SHUT HIS MOUTH AND NOT TELEGRAPHED TO OBJ HOW MUCH JERRY WANTSHIM????
How much money would it have saved the team and Jerry?

I still think the Giants are going to sign him. They need him the worst. They'll probably pay him the most.

Maybe but I don't know how much he would believe in their prospects to win anything with Jones.

If I'm him I want to go to Buffalo but he might not see that climate as an attractive place to call home. He says he's looking for a long term home.

They have the 2nd lowest cap space to work with of the teams OBJ mentioned (this season - Bills being less). So they need him the worst, but not sure they can pay him the most.

Not saying we will of course.

I don't know why everyone gets on Jones so much. He's not a bad QB, he just needs weapons. You see it with Tua and Hurts, neither are good passers.

Buffalo doesn't need OBJ. Green Bay and the Rams might be out of the playoff picture before OBJ is available, so that knocks them out. That leaves Tampa and NYG.

I can’t see him leaving the Rams. The LA spotlight and his fiancé has a business there. Cowboys are second. The Giants and Buffalo are highly doubtful.

You're right. They don't have the cap space. I'm sure they can make space. The thing is, do the Giants actually think he'll make them contenders? That's another unknown.

I just can't picture The Giants. After they dealt him, to Cleveland of all places, I can't imagine he is wanting to run back to that organization with open arms. I'm not saying that there is friction between the two (that I know of), but I'd guess NY is not the first place on his list.

Pretty sure he doesn’t want to be a cowboy. He’s talking about settling, and NY is a better place to go back to with history and all.
