The Cowboys have made their offer. They are smartly and clearly not going to break the bank for a twice recently injured WR for half the season. And they are probably smartly holding out on not doing a long term deal.

So Jerry and everyone in Cowboys nation is clearly trying to woo him to take less money and join the Cowboys.

Players just sense that the team will sign him IF he wants to play for the Cowboys.

Jerry just likes to talk if there is microphone present. What he says is meaningless.

It might be true that they've made him a take it or leave it offer. That's the Stephen Jones approach to free agents. He has reportedly made those offers to many free agents the past few years but only a few have accepted...

Again we are roiled by a player past his prime who'd likely upset the WR cart we have in place. Washington and Gallup were for naught?

They would not have made an offer without some sort of physical. That would be dumb.

Jerry is part of every negotiation

if ur OBJ do u lean to a team u just won a SB with and that wants to re-sign you or Jerry who hasnt won a thing in over 26 years, is an overbearing owner, and has a poor OC. These players also talk to each other freely meaning OBJ has probably had at least 1 talk with Cooper. OBJ will without question bring Jerrys offer to the Rams. Unless Jerry wants to grossly overpay why in the world would OBJ want to sign with Jerry.

If he is smart, its nothing about who won last year, but who has the better chance THIS year. Rams clearly dont. They are a shadow. He probably wants a long term deal.

He would want to sign with the Cowboys because our team is amazing this year. A true contender with Dak as the QB to catch passes from.

Common sense. Not about the past, its about what's going on right now. Which you seem lost on.

At this point, Jerry was right and all the cry babies were wrong. And look, now Jerry is actually out trying to sign OBJ like so many have wanted and still cant stop crying.

Jerry saved some money for something like this and you cried. Now you see why.

Good lad, I agree.
But would it not be peachy keen if JERRY HAD SHUT HIS MOUTH AND NOT TELEGRAPHED TO OBJ HOW MUCH JERRY WANTSHIM????
How much money would it have saved the team and Jerry?
He tips his hand all the time - no poker face.

He basically won the SB for the Rams or didn't you watch the game?
I think you didn't watch the game. Odell got injured with 4 minutes left in the second quarter of the Superbowl. The score was 13-10 Rams lead, Odell had 2 catches for 52 yards and a td. So no, Odell didn't basically win the the Superbowl for them.

Poor negotiating tactics by Jerry and Stephen once again.
Thankfully not going to happen.
