The Cowboys have made their offer. They are smartly and clearly not going to break the bank for a twice recently injured WR for half the season. And they are probably smartly holding out on not doing a long term deal.

So Jerry and everyone in Cowboys nation is clearly trying to woo him to take less money and join the Cowboys.
Cowboys, Jerry, Smart? LOL! It never gets old with some of you. How smart was it to cut a top 5 WR to save $ only to spend more $ on two guys with 1 leg each. LOL, give me a break already.

Maybe but I don't know how much he would believe in their prospects to win anything with Jones.

If I'm him I want to go to Buffalo but he might not see that climate as an attractive place to call home. He says he's looking for a long term home.
He has come out and said - no cold weather cities, he wants it to be somewhere warm. Pretty much shoots down Buffalo, even though I agree with you and would think that would be his first choice - thats the team thats his best bet at getting back to the SB.

It’s clear Jerry is interested
Jerry is always interested. What he doesnt realize is that these players just keep using him.
Players know what he's like. You dont think OBJ has called Cooper?
Hes using Jerry

……and pass up on an opportunity to receive pin point accurate passes from Rayne Dakota Prescott?. Nobody passes that up. It would cement his way to the HOF to end his career

I pointed my finger to the heavens after posting that.

that’s corny and tasteless man, cmon

I would do a 2 year deal. Half a year and next year. If it’s a fair deal. Other wise it may not be worth it. Does he still have it.

It sounds like Jerry has finally figured out the Lamb isn't number 1 and it was stupid to cut Cooper who hurt some player's feelings.

When did we cut a top 5 receiver? I must have missed that one.

Jerry is typically not interested. He clearly wants OBJ to come here and is telling the players to chip in on the wooing part.

This is all 100% assumption on your part. We don’t know if they made an offer and if they did how much or how long.

I honestly don't get the big deal about Odell, what has he done the last two seasons that makes you think he'll help?
Im not sure I’d sign him for what it may take and I don’t know where he stands health wise and am leery the old OBJ attitude comes out, but you are way off with your comment because he was a big reason why his team won a super bowl.

I don't know why everyone gets on Jones so much. He's not a bad QB, he just needs weapons. You see it with Tua and Hurts, neither are good passers.

Buffalo doesn't need OBJ. Green Bay and the Rams might be out of the playoff picture before OBJ is available, so that knocks them out. That leaves Tampa and NYG.
Tampa has Evans, Godwin, Jones and Gage. Tampa needs help but it’s not at WR IMO

OBJ is a free agent and is clear to sign with anyone if he wanted to be with Dallas he'd be signed already this is clearly posturing for both sides. I do think he has interest in Dallas based on our current position in the NFC, but I honestly think his representation is pushing him to hold on to see where the the bidding is going to go. I say the longer he remains unsigned the less likely he ends up in Dallas.
I don’t think so. I think The problem is he isn’t yet healthy. That is why not just the Cowboys, but no one has likely yet offered him anything or even met with him yet. Once you sign him you pay him and he hits your cap. Why not wait a few weeks until he is able to at least practice or until your doctors feel he will be soon. There is no guarantee he even plays this year, at least at a high level. You sign him a month ago and you wasted 4-8 games checks and there is a chance you are signing a guy who won’t take the field until next year and the whole reason to sign him is for this year

This makes no sense. They wouldn’t be signing him to be a #1 and maybe not a #2 and Cooper wasn’t cut.

???
Jerry is part of every negotiation

if ur OBJ do u lean to a team u just won a SB with and that wants to re-sign you or Jerry who hasnt won a thing in over 26 years, is an overbearing owner, and has a poor OC. These players also talk to each other freely meaning OBJ has probably had at least 1 talk with Cooper. OBJ will without question bring Jerrys offer to the Rams. Unless Jerry wants to grossly overpay why in the world would OBJ want to sign with Jerry.
