I think if you ignore that something happened and sign him, you deserve what you get.
Something happened we know that much. Doesn't really matter whose fault it was. Something happened.

If I'm going to sleep, first thing I'm going to do is buckle my seat belt when I set down on the plane.
I have flown enough to know the airline requires it.
But that is a done deal.
The team that signs him, is giving him a pass to be disruptive by ignoring that something happened.
That team is enabling him to continue to be the prima donna he thinks he is.
