OBJ unlikely to play in regular season, per Gehlken

Dude, you can look at a photo and determine holding, pass interference, illegal motion, and if you look really close, conduct detrimental to the league.

lol ok, so reading people minds and emotion in a single photo. I saw some others with Trevon with his laughing along side OBJ, yet that does not mean anything either.

Compare the smile on his face to the sour look Trevon and Micah have on. Only one of these dudes is benefitting at all from their interaction.

Whatever that note is on his jacket about the "Last Orgy" should probably cement things. Is he going to rent the old school White House?

As much as I hate the idea of overpaying or signing OBJ. If he can just take attention away from CeeDee, make a couple of big third down receptions, open up the field with his deep speed and make coaches worry the guy is worth it.

So after 11-12 wins, the likely 5 seed, the plan would be to have him get “acclimated” after very minimal practice time, zero game reps, in a road playoff game.

only the Cowboys
Why not wait and see if the Cowboys actually sign him before trashing the organization?

If he can't play almost immediately then he's a waste of our time.

No way do I want him and Dak trying to get on the same page IN THE PLAYOFFS

If he can’t play in the regular season he won’t be coming to Dallas. The last time the Cowboys tried suiting up a receiver for the playoffs that didn’t play during the regular season due to injury was Terry Glenn and that didn’t go well. Note: Terry Glenn may have played one game during the regular season in 07.

I can't link it because you know why.

If he signs it's with the understanding he's unlikely to play in the regular season.

My reputation is the link.

that sounds like a waste to me then. Unless we are signing him for next season. The guy is only going to play one or two games and it might just screw things up trying to incorporate him.

maybe in the off-season at a reasonable price, but otherwise... meh

I’d still sign him for next year if the price is right. He’s one of the best if healthy.

There's been many conflicting reports on OBJ's health. But if he can't or won't play in the regular season it seems odd to sign him now.

The draft has impact players every year now, usually deep. Why spend money on a WR when we have one signed and need to sign another already

So basically he won’t play at all this season this. No point in signing him unless you can convince him to sign a cheap multi-year deal (doesn’t seem likely) and even then is very risky. I like OBJ but at this point it’s better to just wait until next season and see where things are at.

Sign him, let him get up to speed the rest of the season, then throw in a few wrinkles other teams haven’t seen in the postseason.

The Cowboys haven't actually done this ... this is talk and speculation at this point. Maybe they will, but I can't accuse them of doing something until they actually do it.

But even so, the Bills and Giants are also talking to him, so it's not only the Cowboys
