Does this mean the Cowboys will stop twerking for OBJ now?

Starting to think the Cowboys were not initially one of his desired teams and it took the full court press from players/management just to get him in the building for a visit. This courtship of an injured player has been bizarre to say the least.

Not ideal. If the Cowboys sign WR Odell Beckham Jr., “it will be with the understanding that the veteran receiver is unlikely to play before the regular season is done,” per
@DavidMooreDMN

But this doesn't mean, If Signed..OBJ Could be ready for the Playoffs

Unreal. Another monumental waste of time and resources. The Eagles needed about 36 hrs to sign TWO Pro Bowl DTs to shore up their Dline and we've waited 2 months for a "maybe" on a prima donna wideout. Oh yeah, we need some run defenders. Maybe in April or May. SMH

This sounds like it would be an immense distraction in the first game of the playoffs.

Plus, all the news leading up to then would be about a player who hasn't contributed anything to a 12-14 win team.

sounds exactly how many here said it would go. OBJ probably saying he’ll be ready to hit the field in 6 more weeks. (playoffs)

no ramp up no nothing. not ideal at all. look at gallup. he can’t seem to stop and turn Yet. he’s all straight forward. mental more than anything at this point.

Sign OBJ to a Pro Rated Deal this year in hopes he can make the Playoffs with an attach to a 2 year incentive partial guarantee deal for next year and lets see where the chips may fall..

I see two guys wondering how they let Jerry get them tied up in this BS.

Compare the smile on his face to the sour look Trevon and Micah have on. Only one of these dudes is benefitting at all from their interaction.

Diggs and Parsons would rather be playing video games or watching the World Cup.

I can't link it because you know why.

If he signs it's with the understanding he's unlikely to play in the regular season.

My reputation is the link.
There is nothing regular about this season.

At this point, I say the Cowboys should just stick with the WR core they have, and should work Turpin into the slot more (finding some plays to get him the ball in space, like WR screens or the jet sweep, or whatever...Moore, FIGURE THIS OUT). Turpin played WR in college, so they should get him involved in some 4 WR sets and make him a threat. Hec, send him deep from the slot sometimes and make the defense respect his speed, and then run some WRs underneath the deep route. It's time for Moore to get creative with someone who obviously has the speed to scare defenses.

Forget OBJ. Wait until the season is over, and upgrade at WR during the offseason in the draft or in free agency. If anything, the Boys may need to find a CB before the playoffs start.
