Objectivity, anyone?

this is a mediocre team with an awful head coach and an even worse GM. Nothing will change until Jerry is gone. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The second part is a nice Garrett excuse , but ..

Parcells made the playoffs twice in 4 years, he had worse teams and QBs than Garrett . The Owner with Parcells was Jerrah .

2 playoff berths in 4 years > 2 playoff berths in 9 years .

You are right about Garrett being awful, but head coaches can have much better results under Jerrah .

LOL.

You just struggle with criticism of this franchise even when it comes from former, Hall of Fame players.

Aikman was dead on in his criticism.

I didn't hear it. I just think aikman falls in the same class as Joe buck.

This is a very fair assessment. I would add that this was Seattle's home opener - they had won 9 straight home openers before today for a reason. Really, nobody should've been surprised. This team is not good enough right now to go on the road to a place like Seattle and win UNLESS they play mistake free.

Another thing to consider is that this is today's NFL outside of a couple of truly dominant teams (and really, maybe only 1 - the Rams). Can anyone explain the total egg the Vikings laid at home against a pitiful Buffalo team? And not on the same level, but the Jags at home against the Titans?
Previous to today, Seattle had lost 4 of their last 5 home games. It's not like they were the team they once were either.

This place is rapidly becoming a cesspool of negativity and anger. I have seen it bad before but right now it seems to be at an all time high in terms of knee jerk reactions.

Let's start off with Dak. He is a young QB. He isn't playing well, but his line is playing pretty putridly right now. When we forced Romo into retirement it was a mistake. We traded Romo for the shiny more toy and the luster is now worn off the toy. It was a serious mistake but that card has been played so you move on.

Dak had a couple of INTs today and neither were his fault. The turnovers (3) cost us this game as much as anything else. Say whatever you want, it's true.

The receivers are doing fine. That won't be a popular opinion, but it's true. The problem is the OL isn't giving Dak enough time and Dak isn't seeing the field well, so it's a double whammy there.

The defense still played well, but where were all the sacks today? LVE seems to be really coming on. I'll give the defense a pass today but they were not as solid as before.

Seattle was a VERY desperate team and I knew it would be a tough out, especially in Seattle. Seattle is loud and it's a very tough place to play. Having said that we should have won today.

Coaching: Man you guys just ride the hell out of these coaches. Let's be real here--how are the coaches supposed to prevent the INTs and the fumble today.

Randy Gregory. Stupid people generally do stupid things. He is an absolute tool bag. I would try to trade him for something if the opportunity arises and move on from him.

It's a long season. We need to get to 2 and 2 next week and see what happens.

Side note, the Giants looked like a better team today. That win was bigger than it even looked last week. Think the fact that the Giants were 0 and 2 had anything to do with that tenacity?

I'm as frustrated as anyone here. We aren't playing well, at all, but we are not that far off. We need to consider helping out this OL in some way. It's the engine of this offense and right now, its sputtering.
What meds you taking I could use some, im sorry but this team is complete and total trash right now. Dak is the worst

I didn't hear it. I just think aikman falls in the same class as Joe buck.

For starters he criticized the offense late saying Seattle was giving them certain routes and the Cowboys still couldn’t take advantage of what should be easy pitch and catches.

I trust Aikman far more than you when it comes to straight talk about the issues facing this franchise. You are the guy who claimed the offense would flourish once they dumped Dez.

How’s that working out?

of course you didnt hear it, your head to far up JJ. Dude this team is a freaking mess right now and really has been for 20+ years thanks to that stupid old man

Fine so far. How's it working out for you? I'm still giddy over him being gone. The fact he can't find a job is the icing on the cake of validity. No team seems to want him.

People always have their pet cats to shield from blame and want to point to one thing. Objectively speaking, there is a lot wrong with this team. Not sure why anyone wants to defend any part of it. They all need to improve, from owner down to the worst man on the roster.

Shut up verdict ......... you are just trying to cover how getting rid of Dez made us a much worse team.

Dez? The guy that no team wants? No even us after struggling! Ha ha. You guys have zero objectivity.

Yeah. I'm all for bashing the stuff that needs bashing. Bash away.

I don't think everything is wrong with everything about the team.

He’s inaccurate for the most part. Hangs onto the ball too long with no feel in the pocket. Bad mechanics too frequently.
Other than that he’s turning out to be a real keeper...

Objectivity? Reviewing after the dust settles... Seattle was just the better team. They couldn’t pass much, because Sea defense took it to em. The Dallas defense didn’t do much, because Sea offense took it to em. In short...this was a team who took Seattle too lightly, based on riding high from last week’s win. This is what Dallas does...they think singular regular season wins somehow equate to arriving, then hit a brick wall.

Small things lead to big results. Those small things are not happening. No attention to detail, which comes from the top.

Zeke drops pass on third and medium in first half: drive killer.

Zeke steps out on td catch: inexcusable.

Zeke carries ball like a loaf of broad and loses fumble. That’s not how they are coached at any level.

Gallup coughs up pass for int.

Dak forces pass into traffic for deflected int.

Dak hesitant on deep, deep drops.

Gregory senseless 15 yard penalty.

Switch two of those plays around and Dallas is right in this one.

The sky isn’t falling but I see dark storms. They need a shake up but we know it won’t happen.

That's right. Those sort of things were the difference in the game

Yeah, sorry. Even the biggest of homers can't deny what we are today, and that is one of the worst teams in the NFL, with a mediocre at best QB, and one of, if not the worst HC in the NFL. We aren't that far off?? Did you watch the game today?
