I am not buying it ..... I still think Jerry Jones signs him ...... He is in love.

He will sign him for what he claims is a steal and all the Jerry sycophants on here will rejoice in Jerry's name.

What this even mean? He can't even suit ^. He can't even run a route.

Until mid January. It’s an 18 week schedule now, which means the season ends Jan 8th. Maybe Dallas Catches Philly, maybe not. But OBJ even if healthy wouldn’t affect that outcome much, and Minny isn’t getting more wins than Philly. So Philadelphia with a first round bye won’t really need his services until Jan 22nd, which he’s expected to be ready to go by then.

I don’t think he adds a lot of value to our offense the way it’s constructed, but the timeline would make sense

Him refusing 2 run etc is stunning actually. 0 team in their right mind would take that gamble, especially Longterm. He better lower his expectations and get real.

If we could get Odell at 100% even for the playoffs this year it might be worth it. But having to sign a long term deal, I’d prefer to have Pollard locked up next year over getting Odell this year, but esp if he may not even play this one.
It seemed to me with bijan Robinson visiting the team facilites they’re already looking into replacing pollard with a rookie or s cheaper vet. Pollard will demand a boatload on the market. I hope I’m wrong and he resigns but it seems they will focus elsewhere.

understand this guys, signing him means we are willing 2 risk losing a guy like 20 next year. Can't sign them all. I rather stick with 20.

I was assured (here) on Sunday that OBJ would be playing for the Cowboys versus Houston and was scoffed at for disagreeing. That was never going to happen. :muttley:[/QUOTE
This saga may be coming to an end.

Saga??? I always chuckle at how this forum overreacts to everything. Uh oh... Diggs and Parsons took obj to the Mavs game.... how are they not focusing on the Texans? They are taking them lightly, damn it. What is wrong with Big Mike letting his team become so unfocused on the task at hand?\

Why is the front office spending all of their energy on OBJ when we need a CB damn it? Thats it, our season is over. The front office is a circus, our coaches cant keep the team focused..... just the same old thing every year!

HILARIOUS

A month's worth of headlines.

"Mission Accomplished" - Jerry
Does Jerry own ESPN? Does he write the script for every sports show that discusses football? When will people figure out that the Dallas Cowboys probably get 75% of the headlines EVERY WEEK? No matter what Jerry does... he and the team is thr fuel that drives the NFL. No matter what he says or does the team will be discussed. Did he get a few extra Million from the headlines?

Since Dak came back the Cowboys are averaging about 37 points per game, aren't they? I suspect this move, if they made it, was all about beating the Eagles in the playoffs. But someone posted an article a while ago about how OBJ's surgery was a "revision", which is a second surgery on the same ligament. The article mentioned that the 2nd time around the recovery time is longer and the risk of reinjury is higher. I think the article said no top receiver has every returned from a knee revision. The optimism over OBJ coming to Dallas was never warranted.

Tacky move by our FO to disclose information publicly, about health, that no other team has done. Free Agent alert!

1)Just being as mercenary as the player.
2)EVERYTHING the Cowboys say or do is public domain. It’s overhyped, overanalyzed, overly blessed and excessively and obsessively condemned.
3)Jerry doesn’t run from a mic. He runs TOWARD it!
4)There’s no middle ground with the Cowboys, and the media will chase whatever garners the most rating$.

Exactly, and paying so much for so little is foolish. I’m guessing, but what are the odds Captain Camerashy ran his mouth in front of the wrong person? They told two friends, and so on and so on and so on…
