Looked like the 2016 team. I felt going into game Dallas was either on verge of imploding or going on run.

1. With Collins & David Irving active this is formidable DL with talent, explosiveness & depth. You win championships with that type of construction. Not saying that is case with Dallas but its huge component of championship football.

2. Beasley has been saying he has been open all year and it looked that way today. Dak locked into him early and it allowed alot of those mis-direction plays to be effective.

3. Esch has surpassed my expectations. I knew he had sideline-sideline speed but I didn't think he would be so good at tackling & anticipation this early. He has two exceptional teachers in Lee & Jaylon Smith.

4. Offensive line looked so good I didn't even think about Frederick not playing.

5. Dak still makes me nervous with his lack of accuracy but at very least we can say he can fight from his back on ground. Has incredible desire and legs can be weapon. I still think its hard to sustain winning football with QB who has questionable accuracy but lets see if D & Running game can make it work.

6. Doug Nussmeier (TE coach) desearves some credit. All three TE are progressing. Gathers actually looked like NFL TE on that one play. Swaim might be starter.

7. Sold on Xavier Wood (S). No need to get Earl Thomas after season.

8. Some credit to Garrett for making gutsy call on releasing very popular kicker for unknown K who has basically been lights out.

  • I agree, It is strange that Looney has been so impressive. I am not discounting Frederick, but Looney looks as if he is one of the best centers in the league. Who would have thought?
  • I am most proud of Byron Jones. He looks like a savvy veteran with his ability to deflect passes. He runs fast and changes directions as good as any corner in the league. I think if he continues to progress he will get a few picks.
  • Conner Williams and LVE both look like first round picks. Dallas hit a homerun with these men.

Dak dominated the game from, any more questions for the haters?

The Dallas defense is top 5

can't agree #7 ... Woods just don't think like a FS, never wanted ET, too old

This was an excellent performance from this team, in all phases of the game. Most impressive win in two years.

Having said that, what makes a team legit is being consistent. Something we haven’t seen in a two years. If this team can go into Wash next week and put together a second straight win against a division opponent, I will feel this team has done something noteworthy.

I enjoyed this win. Impressive. Be consistent and I will really be impressed.

Agreed. For me it hasn't felt this way since KC game last year.

Your #1 is the most important for that defense.
Having Collins back is huge. Then you have Irving and it opens up how they are able to rotate guys in an out. I mean they straight shut the door on Jax today, even without Lawrence having a big game. Just never let them do much but that one scoring drive.

Woods did you key in on the line today? How was Connor Williams?

His timing is improving so he is beating DT to the punch most snaps allowing him to get position and use his upper body strength inline. On the move he is finding targets and getting push.

The main issue I see with him is in how he takes a punch. He needs to increase his core strength and he gets jarred too hard when struck well.

Thanks Fuzzy where you been

O-Line was destroying the JAX Passrush. If the O-Line is that good Dak is good. Hes just plain terrible when there is pressure. Thats why he will never be a Franchise QB.

Atleast they got creative with the playcalling for once. If you want to have any success with this QB you have to use his feet. That should be clear for 3 years now. Dont know why they try to force him into a Pocket Passer every second game.

The LB Corps is Special even without Lee. Jaylon and LVE are the real deal. Best Young LB Duo in the League right now.

Hurns should be cut after this game. Give his minutes to Brice Butler.

Was Linehan in the booth today? Thought I saw him up there. If so, maybe he needed a new perspective of the field to see how Defenses we're attacking.

Was good to beat on some old Cowboys players today.
