:bang2: everyone is always pining for the back up(mb) JJ has to lose his job before the backup gets it. some people just dont get it

The system sucks for Julius Jones. The fact that Barber gets the goal line stats seem to be misleading. The fact that Barber runs like an animal and blocks isn't.

I'd start Jones over Barber any day, but when Barber caught the two TD passes in a national game, it was somewhat of a coming out party.

Actually, they were. It was beginning.
Got any examples? Or is this some fabrication in your mind? He took a bad angle on the Portis TD, but other than that I can't think of him being beat in space or a team passing on him to any great extent.

Sure, every person has flaws. This isn't some ground-breaking discovery. The fact of the matter is that he limits them more than any other QB.

You are right, but spread the credit around a little before you put him the ring.

Why do you continue to personally attack me with statments like "is this some fabrication in your mind."

If you dont like my observations, dont respond.

I'm not about to start trying to work with you to remember specific defensive plays that you may or may not have seen. I dont have all night. Sometimes you just have to trust, or move on.

You have to be the most clueless person I've ever come across here at Cowboys Zone.

I would say that it has more to do with the fact that Parcells was resting JJ for the stretch run knowing that the game was well in hand. That, not MBIII running great was the reason that JJ played so little in the 2nd half. I understand why people like MBIII, I like his style a lot as well, but there is a reason that JJ is the feature back on this team. Parcells knows more about football than any 10 posters on this forum, and he starts JJ and gives him more carries, that should tell you all you need to know about the subject.

I would say that I agree with you completely.

Good for you. You have my permision to never read my opinions again. It won't affect my family's security at all.

It is hard to convince the Jesus Romo croud that Bledsoe wasn't the one blowing those coverages, so I'll stop trying. I'll tell you one person that agrees: The older manning brother.

Pretty awful blog all around.

I was definitely skeptical of Romo...mainly because I was frustrated with all the QBs we've went through since Aikman, but then again, I don't have my own website to make a fool out of myself on a daily basis.

I doubt anyone here would agree with that Greg Ellis remark for a second. He will be deeply deeply missed and was always a great part of the D.

I agree with your thoughts on Julius 100%. I even like the additional point of Bill saving him for the stretch run.

However, it doesn't matter what the reason is for him getting in the game, the fact is that the guy gets in the end zone when he touches the ball. It is my opinion that he could and should be a starting running back in the NFL based on his play when he gets in the game.

Barber has 111 touches from the line of scrimage and 11 TDs.

You can say that stat is skewed because he gets in on the goal line plays, but then you have to factor in his 5.1 yards average.

We've still blown coverages. Did you watch that first drive that the Bucs had 3 days ago?

The difference now is that our offense can get us out of holes that the defense may get us in. The offense also has the ability to control the clock. This gives the D rest, and leads to less mistakes. But when mistakes are made, we've shown a better ability with Romo to drive down the field and score. The same works for when the offense makes a mistake because, once again, the defense is rested enough to make a stand. These are all obvious things, so this has probably gone way over your head.

Next time you have some "random thoughts" I would share them on extremeskins.com

They seem to have your same prowess and understanding of football on that site.

I love Greg Ellis. I acutally wrote that he was a great football player. The facts are the facts and I cant let my opinion of the guy get in the way of the facts. Ellis was our best pass rusher. Everyone of the guys that will end up being positioned in his spot on different plays will be better coverage guys. Sorry to inform you of that, but you dont need a blog to understand that.

I remember the day we drafted him. Somehow I will fine irony with the same people that cursed the cowboys because they drafted him instead of Moss arguing this with me.

Didn't Troy Hambrick average like 5.2 YPC as Emmitt's backup? When Hambrick was the full time starter I think it was around 3.5 YPC

I promise you that I am qualified to evaluate football at a much higher level than the guys argueing with me by repeating the stuff they hear on call in talk shows.

Are you really arguing based on the fact that the bucs offense was so good our offense rescued us by putting together long drives?? What?

Hahaha I agree.

This is why Al Gore should've made some sort of rules pertaining to who could get their own website when he "invented" the internet. A lot of bloggers think they matter just like this.

Like I said, extremeskins.com has plenty of space for such opinions that poor Cowboys fans like us aren't smart enough to understand. In fact, there are some great posts on there right now talkin about how the skins will make the playoffs this year. Maybe "random thoughts" should be pasted amongst that intellectual crowd. They seem to know what is going on.
