Who’s gonna be the offense line coach?
That is the main question everybody should be asking.

If the line does not work, and it did not often this year, nothing else matters. That choice makes or breaks a lot of things that make a difference, especially now since Prescott will never run the ball with conviction ever again.

Wells, maybe. But if not him, the choice needs to be inspired.

I get your point but no one had heard of an obscure assistant coach from the Rams in 1991 named Norvell Turner either.
Having Jimmy as HC and stud players on O helped Norv quite a bit too, that whole culture played a big role in the success. Norv of course added too it for sure.

Who are they? I do not want to see a promotion of a current underling with the same tired offensive ideas. Just grasping at straws for some hope. Its been 15 years of zero creativity. Steal an offensive assistant from Minny/SF/LA/Buffalo.
i said in another thread. i think they should go after callahan to be the OC/OLine coach

How foolish is everyone. I know BS is gonna call plays till he mismanages games and time outs and there are 3-5 Garrett like blunders that cost us 3-4 wins, then Jerry will make him a stand around coach and hire an oc. It’s going to be Garrett all over again.

I know things didn't end on good terms, but Bill Callahan would do wonders for our offensive line/running game.
Great OL coach. Maybe the best.

And he'll always be a hero for calling Garrett a B to his face.

Too bad he's coaching for his son in Tennessee.

Until this time, BS had worked under Mangini, Fisher, and Carroll--all defensive coaches. Pretty sure he was play caller every time.
May be. I just don’t recall if he did. One thing he has done as an OC is pretty goid offenses

I hope he does because his past playcalling days do very little to ease anyone's minds
The good news is Jerry prefers his head coach not call the plays, so I would be a little surprised if he gave Schott the power to make that decision. The only way this works is if Schott had some amazing coordinators.
