Atlanta is playing to win.

Philly is playing to win.

People that say those teams have nothing to play for must not have played competitive sports or don't have any personal pride. IMO

BTW-Atlanta almost always beats Carolina when at home.

You have a situation where both ATL and Philly has the chance to knock a hated division rival out of the playoffs. You don't think they have nothing to play for?

If we take care of out business, I think we're in.

Atlanta does have something to play for. If they win, it will be the first time in franchise history that the Falcons have had back to back winning seasons.
Also, they are going to want to put Carolina out of the plaoffs. That is a division rival!

actually Carolina is favored by 4
Thanks, I thought that line was fishy. For the record, here are the lines for our relevant games:

New York Giants (-8) at Oakland Raiders
Carolina Panthers (-4) at Atlanta Falcons
New Orleans Saints (+14) at Tampa Bay Bucs

oh yeah, and ..

St. Louis Rams (+12.5) at Dallas Cowboys

I can't find a line on the Commanders-Eagles game.

Wrong Fl. Carolina is favored by four.

I think the odds are about like this:

Carolina wins - 6 in 10
Wash wins - 8 in 10

Meaning, there is a 48% chance that Carolina and Wash both win (.6*.8)..meaning a 52% chance either loses.

Optimistically, lets assume that we have an 80% chance of winning. So our playoff odds are: .52*.80=42%.

So we have a 42% chance of making the playoffs.
This feels about right to me.
