SI.com's Jim Trotter reports ex-Bengals LB Odell Thurman has violated the NFL's substance abuse policy again and faces an indefinite suspension.
Thurman missed the past two seasons due to suspensions tied to drug abuse. If Trotter's report is true, it's doubtful we'll see Thurman in the league again. This is likely why the troubled 24-year-old wasn't claimed on waivers.

where are all those dunces who claimed the Bengals were being horrible to Thurman and didnt know what they were doing when they cut him?

Some of us said there was a reason he was run off, yet there was post after post slamming the Bengals organization

I wonder if we can trade Carpenter or Spears for him.

Just heard on Talkin Cowboys, when Mickey and Jones were doing The Blitz, that Odell has been suspended indefinately by Roger Goodell.

Bye bye, Odell. We hardly knew ya.

How stupid do you have to be? Seriously? How dumb do you have to be to throw away a NFL career just to get high.

Combine stupid with drug addiction and you get people who throw their lives away. It seems worse when you are throwing away an NFL career and millions of dollars, but it no different than people who throw away a $50K office job or throw away their families. I won't pretend to understand why they do it because I don't get it, either.
