I don't think Zeke gets #22, and even though Emmitt doesn't think we should draft him, because of other needs.
But I joked he just don't want Zeke, as he knows he will break all his records, especially with this OL.
However, Emmitt with warm up to it, and will back Zeke to wear 22 and break all the records.

In today's brand of football, I'm not sure it is realistic to expect Zeke to break that record...but if the Cowboys do draft him, I sure would love to see him try.

Drafting a rb at 4 would be the dumbest thing we could do. Total waste. So it will prob happen. If Tony stays healthy we make the playoffs with or without zeke. If he doesn't then zeke will have no effect on the wins and losses. Total waste of a pick.

No not a waste of a pick. I thought this was a team game, maybe I am wrong though.

So with your theory, is that every football player's IQ is between 1- 99....well, ok then...

Not quite. Not sure how you came to that conclusion when no one else is mentioned. Plus, it was only a gag because of the way he talks in interviews.

I'll say it again, ya'll need to put the drafting for dummies book down. It's not about taking a certain position at a certain point in the draft. That is a terribly stupid philosophy to have in drafting. What matters is what that particular player will do for your particular team. It might be a waste of a #4 pick for other teams, but what Zeke will do for the Cowboys is another story all together. Pairing him with that line is going to make Romo play his football. You need only look at Romo in 2014 to understand why. And please don't come at me with the we got Murray in the 3rd. There were reasons why he fell, none of which had to do with ability, and furthermore, Murray is not available in this draft.

He will not do anything more than the RB we have on the team already. He will run through open holes. It is the threat of the Pass and run that made the team effective in 2014, not the RB. Murray was and is nothing special. We don't need to waste a pick on a position that will not make a difference. Trade back and get more players. Take a RB later if must have one but there is absolutely no need to take a RB at 4. That to me would be a total waste of the 4th pick, when we could do a lot more to help the team.

I never said Murray was special...but for some, they love to bring up the fact that we found him in the 3rd as though we could duplicate that success in any given year. Personally, I think Elliott will be better than Murray...but as is everything else I've said, that is just my opinion. What I think I think I know - there will absolutely be no one else available at 4 that comes anywhere close to the positive impact Zeke will have should the Cowboys draft him.

I'd buy an Elliot jersey if he could successfully add 88 and 22 together.

Why. It works for you

Well, as a starter book, it's okay. But you have to know when to move away from the book when a player comes along that will really help your team.

Prediction: 8-8, no playoffs, Romo retires, Garrett is fired and oh yeah the Eagles get Wentz.
