I am starting this thread because we constantly here fans and people complain about injuries and then heaven for bid if a player get injured in multiple seasons like say Sean Lee. You start to hear fans say get rid of him he is injury prone, what good is he if he cannot stay on the field, wasted contract, Etc.

So Here Is my question:

You have the next pick in the draft Gronkowski and Witten are available you have to choose one !

Here is the catch you KNOW exactly how things are gonna turn out based on their career stats and injury history ! Who do You Take ?

To Help you i am including Just found this site Sports Injury Predictor not sure how they come to there data but it is interesting so i have included both players profiles and there career stats from NFL.com player stats.

Cowboy Bias aside ---- Personally I am Taking Witten --- Gronk is always missing time thats not to say when he is there he is not a beast, but knowing Wit is gonna be there IMO means alot. Gronk has had some major injuries and seems to get hurt every year or nearly every year would you feel the same about injuries with a player like gronk.

With as much as people complain about player Injuries Who you got ?

Gronk................ I cant believe this is actually a serious question

When was the last time Witten went up over some dude 25 yards down the field and hauled in a one hander for a TD?

I love Witten, but father time has taken its toll...............these 5 yard routes are just laughable at this point.

If we know it all before hand... Gronk has already opened the possibility of retiring. Gronk has issued many games over his career... And if Gronk was on this team his partying lifestyle would have had him suspended already.

Jason is more reliable. Has more catches for more yards and their is no denying gronk is a beast but he only leads Jason by a few Tds and that is with the Tom Brady as his QB

Wait, hold up. I just got a thread idea.

Tony Romo has a TD rate comparable to Brady's.

Comparing Gronkowski and Witten is an absolute joke. That Gronkowski even leads Witten who has been in the league a considerably longer time should tell you all you need to know.

Shhhh... I made my opinion known.

Comparing them is not a joke.

Both will wind up being In the HOF.

Now walk on home Nors, we know you love the pats.

I may not remember right but didn't Jason have a one handed TD reception this year?

Both are future HOFers but Gronk is a dominant big play type player while Witten is more of a consistent chain mover.

It kinda depends on how much more Gronk we get (and I guess even how much more Witten, who knows how long he will go). This is a very good hypothetical, but it almost needs to be ran when they're both done playing.
I would be tempted to say Gronk though... Gronk has/had a better prime, and as good as Witten has been for his age, I'm not sure his last four seasons aren't easily replaced.

Most people won't completely understand your question.

They'll answer based on where those players are today or they answer based on if both were always healthy.
