Former TE Dan Campbell. Schooled by Parcells as a player and when Campbell began coaching. Google him up and read about how he's viewed by some NFL brass/executives. I think he'd be a great head coach but we would still need a new OC. If Marinelli decides to call it a career, Richard slides right in.

If a change is made in season were out of the hunt anyway, no point in hiring anyone. Just wait until the offseason and see whats available.

It would be usually someone who is promoted from within. Frequently it is the QB coach.

Stay away from Darrell Bevell, unless you want an OC that is actually WORSE than what you already have.

I'll take him. He took your team's offense from ranking in the low 20's to top ten while he was there, despite never having great talent or anything resembling a decent offensive line. Of course having a quarterback as good as Russell Wilson makes a huge difference as well.

If you ask me, he made chicken salad out of chicken ****.

Linehan is crap, but he didn’t cost your team a Lombardi by being “too cute”.
Last 3 years I would have traded Darrell “failed bubblescreen” Bevell for SL straight up even though Linehan is horrible. We would have been trading one disaster for other but at least it would be a different idiot for both teams.

I can see how that one play would do it, and I don't blame you, that's hard to overcome. And it likely ultimately cost him his job. But, unlike Linehan, at least he contributed to one Super Bowl win and helped get you to a second visit.
