Offensive Line

I expect our offensive line to play up to their reputation, and their pay scale. An enormous investment of money and draft capital has been put into that area and I want to see that return on investment. No more excuses or talk about ‘those other guys are good’ for me.
umm Mcgovern , Biadsz and Cwill make chump change,,

so your logic says they are allowed to play like poo..pay scales matter, so all rookies and first year deals or FAS on SJ chump deals all allowed to play like garbage..??hnmm not so much...

i said and ill say again the DL is all pro level and will shuv those middle guys back into dak all day.

i watched a lot of plays from last years TB run , they were being doubled nearly every snap and still getting push.

maybe you don't understand those players on the other side are great as well.. you best double them period end of story..the outside guys will have to hold up on islands ..

Um, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round draft investments. It’s not just money.

Nope. Think bigger. See what’s invested in ALL ASPECTS, not just money. Resources.

For what Smith and Collins are paid and who both are supposed to be, they are expected to ‘hold up’.

Eric Fisher played in every game for the Chiefs last year with 2 exceptions. The first was the season finale when they rested their starters. The 2nd, was the Superbowl, after sustaining an injury late in the AFC Championship game. The result in the Superbowl was not pretty.

pile your expectations in one hand and and pooo in the other , let me know which one weighs more........:rolleyes::oldcouple::popcorn:

That’s kinda a bad example given that the Tampa D utterly destroyed KC’s offense, which was the complete opposite of what happened earlier in the year when the OL was healthy.

In more simple terms, you just admitted that if even the Super Bowl contending Chiefs lost to the Bucs because there OL was hurt, then we are most def screwed with our OL hurt.

guess what you have ZERO Choice but to watch , nothing you say here changes squat, there all opinions..

those guys on the other side are dominants and OL all around the league need help against the likes of Donald and players like him..

that not drinking squat, thats a fact , part fo football is doubling certain players. Maybe you missed that in your blind hate and just want to play the negative side 24/7..those are facts , odd most team and coaches do this yet you say just do your job. is that you garett?? , Chaz green appreciates your input no help and never pull him, let his ruin the game and get his qb killed..right thats the way to do it only stashes way is the right way..

we are all just living in stash world, we know nothing..o_O:rolleyes::popcorn:

Likewise for you. Does this mean you’ll stop posting now?

You personally for sure. You’re barely literate!

And lost to the team we are playing with there injured OL after beating them earlier with a healthier OL.

Are you starting to see the problem....

Last I saw, we still have 4/5ths of our starters out there, along with our top, highly-regarded backup.

that was an incoherent reply, odd the kettle calling the pot black because we dont agree with him..

The point I think he was making was when we lose a player, everything falls to ****,but the chiefs, despite their injuries still found a way to get to the sb...yes they lost but they had to overcome adversity and they did but we lose tsmith or Collins or Martin or even worse yet, when we lost Sean Lee,we don't overcome nothing.

While Dallas Nation freaks out because the OL can not be 100% at full strength, the Kansas City went to the Superbowl, last season, with a make shirt OL. They only position that was healthy was @ center.

Chiefs had DEPTH to overcome injuries, while, as usual, unless all the stars are lined up, Dallas can't overcome injuries. Really you say? I say yes!

This franchise has done NOTHING this entire 21st Century. Nothing. Not a single NFC Conference game. Not even saying a win in the NFC finals game, just getting to it. Not (1)

Why?
1~ Franchise can't find depth in the draft --especially in the later rounds. That is where Jimmy Johnson/Tom Landry excelled at. The team of the 90s, didn't have a single 1st round pick on the OL. Nate Newton was a undrafted OL if I recall. Mark Tuinei was a late rounder.
2~ Coaching staff seems to not be able to develop depth players.
The Chiefs didn't overcome anything. They got their as kicked just like any team would because their offensive line was out. If you like the Chiefs, go and be a Chiefs fan. To hell with your negative crap.
