Offensive Pass Interference against Carolina

Ball had a really nice open field tackle tonight. He actually wrapped up. What a concept. I wish he would share it with his teammates.

Tackling was bad in the 1st half they did a much better job of wrapping guys up and swarming to the ball in the 2nd half.

PI for sure because his arms were extended and Jenkins was being pushed over.

Hamlin and Carpenter stink. We need to replace them asap. Neither can tackle worth a lick. Hamlin appears to be nothing more than a 1 year wonder since joining the boys.

Agree for sure on Hamlin. Unbelieveable how well he played in that first year he got here to this crap after a contract. We should have shown him the door with Roy Williams and got another FA safety.

He is pitiful!

Steve Young basically said it should not have been a penalty because it didn't change the outcome of the play. I don't know what he was watching. If Moose doesn't push Jenkins then Jenkins ends up in a much better position to defend the p*** and more than likely there is no reception. It was an obvious call. Sometimes there are obvious calls in a game such as Felix's leg whip or Colombo's holding. By the way why does Colombo get a free p*** on all of his penalties, but Flozell does not?

I didn't think he played that well his first year here. He ended up with a lot of interceptions, but other than that he still took bad angles and missed a lot of tackles. People were so focused on dogging Roy Williams at safety that they missed just how poorly Hamlin was really playing.

Because Colombo is the guy you would want to have your back in a fight. Flozell not so much. Reputation is all.

NO BRAINER IMO: you have to MAUL a DB in the NFL to get that called and Moose pushed Jenkins big time.

They're still saying it was a bad call on BSPN this morning. Unbelievable.

Moose grabbed Jenkins first, and then pushed off.

Even if it wasn't a savage pushoff, if you extend your arm like he did, you will get called every time.

hahaha.

The worst part of that play, though, was Hamlin's attempted tackle. What's this throwing your shoulder into him? Freaking wrap-up.

You are absolutely correct. Campo needs to be criticized for the poor tackling along with Wade. There is no excuse for this nonsense. They are all tackling poor when coming up on those bubble screens. We have got to stop that nonsense. Way too many yards are being given up.

If they can't tackle in that instance then play then on the LOS and not 7 yds off the WR.
