The entire offensive game plan has been terrible in 2 of the last 3 games. Dak has his known issues but the play calling did him zero favors today. Run game wasn't great and the passing game was terrible. Looked like linehan was calling plays, everyone run a 2 yard curl route on 3rd and 9.

We refuse to run the ball off tackle and our WRs can’t catch. Drive killers

Can't adjust to physicality and crowding the box. Which is ludicrous with these WR

Couldn't the HC step to Moore and tell him "I'm calling the game from here on out."

He's the Head Coach.
He has more than 20 years experience calling plays and won a SB as a play calling head coach.

Does he just not know Moore's playcalling terminology or does he not have this authority as the head guy?

Seems like both Denver and today could have used this change that I suggest.

OR any time really if the HEAD football coach determines a change to play calling may be necessary.

Just a thought.

Jerry has been very clear, Big Mike can't step on Moore's toes .

Its Jerry's order .

We didn't even try to established the run. With Cooper being out, I thought we'll be using the RBs more in this game. Pollard didn't really get used much until the end.

Yeah,
I knew this. But wanted to show how deep the team dysfunction runs by showing that a SB winning and former 2 decades plus play calling HC does not even have the authority to call plays when a change is clearly needed sometimes.

McCarthy is the HEAD coach right?
Where does his "actual coaching authority" begin and end?

Good old Jerry got him another yes man puppet I think.

I think he didn’t establish the run because nothing could be done. The run blocking was horrible and even then, when they tried to pass, he tried to use Zeke as an extra blocked (even though it kept failing time after time). Playcalling and offense was just donkey booty tonight.

He didn't even try. You don't stop running again because it didn't get you big yardage on one play. That's my point.

It’s going to be more of the same if Dak can’t or won’t use his legs. He is a one-dimensional QB right now and he needs some designed rollouts, play action with some quick slants mixed in. That should make the opposing defenses honest.

Nothing to do with game plan actually. Nothing at all. Its injuries.

Pollard had a really nice carry the 1st time he touched the ball. Then he got benched for being effective.

if the line cant block you dont keep calling 7 step drop backs

you throw quick slants and curls

we didnt we called long developing plays

it was Garrett all over again

No if they are blitzing and pressing you call routes where the WR goes into the vacated spot from blitzer and gain big yards and force them to cover next time instead of going after the QB all game long.

Unfortunately he might have the same authority as the previous HC. This ownership doesn't believe in having a HC who runs the team with complete authority.

They called some of those but the truth is they called mostly super short plays. They averaged 2.5 yards per catch. Dak missed on the few big plays and they couldn't connect on even intermediate routes. It was all Behind the line crap where their defense tackled immediately. Hate those plays. Dak was off again, the only passes that were on the move were when Wilson was coming back to the ball and making a diving catch.

Another game where the team wasn’t mentally ready for the game. Injuries did not help, but this team was NOT ready to play…..again….that’s on the head coach. Flat as flat can be.
