If he continues to struggle, he will likely end up on IR somehow.
BUT….he's a rookie, 4th round OT. Those guys always struggle adapting to the NFL speed. With film study and continued coaching, he still has a chance to make the roster. He needs to show improvement in the next two preseason games.

I personally didn't like the pick on draft day all that much, but I also didn't notice him being all that bad last night. I wasn't focusing on him, but I guess I need to re-watch it because I read this now a couple of times. First preseason action for a rookie who was considered a little of a development guy? I'm not going to rush to any judgment on him. Honestly, I don't expect anything from him year 1 at all. I think he needs a year before we can even try and figure out what he may be which is part of why I didn't love the pick. But tap the brakes and circle back after week 3 at a minimum.

Hes a finese LT switching sides and lacks NFL strength. He needs time. Im not sure what more was expected of him at this point.

Voch and Broaddus were dogging the pick right after the draft, then after they talked to Duke Manyweather, they thought they were wrong about him being a bad pick, and now... Well, I guess he's a project just like the rest.

I didn’t like the pick either. However, I did focus in on him when he was on the field (even made more of it in the game thread). That said, I didn’t see anything alarmingly bad. He did have a bad pass rush snap where he didn’t get enough depth and gave up the edge, but other than that, I don’t recall anything that spells doom for him.

He needs at least a full offseason in the weight room. He has the requisite athleticism, but he is noticeably not stout in the power game.

Sounds like Guyton is much improved.

Steele will be fine.

But yeah, after that it looks bare. Thomas just doesnt have it. Shelton needs a year. Not sure about Cornelius. Johnson played well, but not until the 4th.

Really think Jerry is looking for a swing tackle in a trade. We do have the ability to move Smith out and bring in Bass. So its not dire. Just not desirable.

We'll be cutting some guys that can play. CB and WR look deep. Maybe a couple DL. Sam Williams maybe?
