Official 53 man roster

Keep in mind, Micah can play there, and Kearse and Wilson can play there in nickel. You never really have 3 traditional linebackers on the field anymore like the old days.
I guess but Bell is really a S but listed as the 4th LB. So even if you assume Parsons at LB, they still only have 4 true LBs. I am curious to see if they are gonna search the cut lists for a vet LB or two. If LVE goes down, whew boy, there's nothing but question at LB. And I like Clark but he's still an unknown.

He's never going to make it to the practice squad. Should have cut Gallimore or Wright.
I just don't get the infatuation they have with Wright. Now granted, he might be IR'd soon which opens a spot but still, he seems untouchable for a guy who, frankly, doesn't seem to do much at all to impress.

didnt deion jones play for Coach Quinn in atlanta? could he be a late addition?

ya me either but he did have his best camp. That isnt saying much though. Quinn likes his measurables I think

I would have kept Moreno-Cropper over Brooks and Land over Parsons.
Can't believe they exposed Farniok to waivers. He'll be snatched up faster than a bear claw left on McCarthy's desk.

Farniok over Gilmore was a no brainer. Can't believe they missed that. When you have Nashon Wright, why do you need anymore CBs?

If you watch most games, there are typically linebackers in the game that are safeties. You MUST be able to cover, or you're toast these days, especially when most teams throw the ball most every down.

Plus, there are very few teams with good run-blocking offensive lines these days anyway.

So Land didn't make the cut, too bad I liked his play in pre-season.
That was the one I am super disappointed about. Happy to see Harper, Hunter, and Bass make it but I would’ve cut Gallimore and kept Land. We are heavy at DT.

I'll betcha he does. Every year, we think the league is going to scarf up our guys, and they never do.

How does this work? Deuce Vaughn and KaVontae Turpin both made the cut. Some people practically staked their lives one or the other would never see the regular season. Are amends made by committing seppuku or what..?

I'll be surprised if he is. Hasn't really distinguished him and has some very bad reps on tape this summer at guard.

Well, it's official for right now. It's going to change in the upcoming days.

Players getting moved around for a while yet.
Nahshon Wright and Josh Ball will move to short term IR. Trent Sieg and Chuma Edoga coming back.

John Stephens and DeMarvion Overshown moved to season ending IR - cannot return this year, cannot practice with team.

Ball also is on season-ending IR. That's been corrected. Not sure who else we're moving on short-term IR. Could put Edoga on the PS, though, instead of bringing him back. Same with Goodwin and even Sieg. If only Wright goes on short-term IR, I assume Sieg would get the 53 spot.

I'm glad they kept a FB!
He's not really a fullback. He's not going to line up like Moose and plow people over. He's just a big tailback.

I like him, but it seems like he's always tripping over the ground when he gets moving.
