Possibly the Seahawks without Alexander.

I think that outside of OL and QB Experience, the Cards have more all around talent. The cards are just beating the bears. It's great.

The Cards aren't good because of their OL, Kurt Warner, and because they're the Cards. But on paper, the Cards are really good. Tonight they are seeing the dividends.

I'd take a 20-0 lead into the half any day of the week. better than throwing a momentum turning int for da bears. as good as Leinart's been so far, it's still only his second game.

I think we'll see some Leinart growing pains here soon, if not this game, then some time.

But I will say this - they are beating the Bears defense straight up. It isn't the Bears defense making mistakes, the cards are just out playing them. But if Bledsoe was in there, with the pressure they have been sending to Leinart, I would bet you a large sum of money that the Cowboys would have turned the ball over 2-3 times in the first half.

On paper their offense has tons of talent. Dunno about their defense though.

Maybe the Cardinals have subpar run blocking ... or maybe Edgerrin James just isn't that good. Who really gameplanned to stop the run against Peyton Manning?

true however I was thinking more of a screen pass or something more like what they threw when they scored their first two TDs. Nothing deep or forced. It is pretty obvious EDGE isn't gonna run up and down the field on this defense

I think we see just how good the Bears are or aren't. I f they can mount a comeback..I say they are pretty good.

Arguably their best player isn't playing tonight. With Fitzgerald out, there's no way they're as talented as the Seahawks... even without Alexander.

No one. Edge got lucky that the Cards were dumb enough to give him that contract. He's never looked that good and benefited from aguably the best passing game in NFL history.

Run blocking - they get no push and whiff quite often. Edge isn't as great as we thought, but he is getting zero help.

Marty Schottenhemier must be advising Denny Green on how to play conservatively

I see your point. THen I will change my statement - they are playing up to their talent, which I still think is very good.

Just to throw a wrench into the conversation.....why did the Raiders pass on Leinart again? Guess you could toss the Lions and a couple other teams in there too...

Perhaps. It depends on what type of gameplan we came into the game with. I think Jujo and Barber can run on this D, limiting the amount of times Bledsoewould have to take chances

You're definitely right there... A chic pick to make the playoffs last year, then this year they added Edge and Leinart has now taken over for Warner. They have lots of talent... on offense. The defense apparently is treeing tonight.

Unfathomably low IQs?

Because they're the Raiders.

seriously, Al Davis must be senile or something as that once-proud franchise's struggles has made our three consecutive 5-11 seasons downright appealing in comparison.

I wonder how many Kyle Orton threads are spawning on Chicago Bears message boards around the world.
