OFFICIAL Chicago vs. Arizona Thread

Is it just me, or does anyone else thinks Stuart Scott's act sucks. He reminds me of Carlton (?) on the Fresh Prince from Bel Air. He tries too hard.

Perhaps. It depends on what type of gameplan we came into the game with. I think Jujo and Barber can run on this D, limiting the amount of times Bledsoewould have to take chances

The thing is though, they've sent the blitz very well on pass plays, and Leinart is completely unfazed by it. And we're talking serious blitz - there have been 3-4 plays where a guys comes in unblocked. Do that to Bledsoe and we are screwed. This kid is unbothered - that ball is out of his hands very, very quickly.

I will say this about Grossman - anyone who thought his play the first part of this season was going to stick was fooling themselves. He throws a nice deep ball, but you can't live off that in the NFL. He is not as great a passer as he is made out to be.

Just to throw a wrench into the conversation.....why did the Raiders pass on Leinart again? Guess you could toss the Lions and a couple other teams in there too...
Because they are the Raiders and the Lions.

The first rule of drafting is you do not pass on a potential franchise quarterback if you do not already have one.

The second rule of drafting is YOU DO NOT PASS ON A POTENTIAL FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE ONE!

Just trying to keep count - a blocker came in untouched and Leinart still got it off in time. BTW - he did this by calling an audible.

I wonder how many Kyle Orton threads are spawning on Chicago Bears message boards around the world.

Probably 0-1... If it was the Cowboys and we were 5-0 and looking bad after one half, it would be at least 467.

Keep dumping the salt into our open wounds.

This is a surprising half time score, but I wouldnt doubt a Bears comeback.

It used to be cool back when I was in junior high... but it's tired now. He just said "jigga."

If Bledsoe was having a season anything like Grossman's it'd be ZERO.

No way. There was a thread on here asking if we got TO to trade him for a first round pick. Somebody would start a thread on it... then about 10 lemmings would start similar threads that would have to be merged.

That's the product of having such a large membership and no restriction on starting threads.

However, you can't even begin to compare their QB situation to ours.

Stuart Scott - Booyah!!!?

Johnson - Boo-no!

FYI - I've got my watch. Grossman has not held the ball for more than 3 seconds on this drive, and is looking underneath.

AMAZING.

OMG. Did Theisman just say that the Cards play in the same division as Williams and Dawkins?!

WHAT A MAROON.
