OFFICIAL Cut / Kept Thread

So, is the secondary quickly becoming the area of the draft that we don't do so well (followed closely by DL)?

It used to be the OL, but the past draft may have remedied that.

Explain to me how we don't draft DL well?

How long before we can start adding guys to the PS?

You're right.

I overstated the DL.

I just would like to see a stud DE for once instead of "solid" guys.

I'm a little surprised they cut Manny Johnson and Mario Butler.

They all have to clear waivers first before being signed to the PS.

They'll probably try to put Butler and Thomas on the PS in case of injury.

Johnson will have to try and catch on elsewhere as I think he's already done two stints on the PS.

Got 51 of 53 right. Didn't have Choice or Young making it and had Chapas and Cummings making it.

I thought Johnson showed up well during the preseason but i guess its a numbers game right now. I thought maybe they would cut Ogletree and keep Johnson.

Thanks. Thought that was the case but wasn't sure.

After a quick look, did we keep Parnell (OT)?

He's not on the "kept" list in post No. 1, but we must have kept him.

EDIT: #Reality updated the list to include him.

Is Radway going to IR? We kept Sam Young? He didn't look so hot this preseason.

So with Brandon Williams and Manny Johnson gone we're now down to 3 players from the 09 draft class? A 3rd string QB, a kicker who can't kick FGs and Butler?

:banghead:

I wonder if we pick up one more ILB off waivers or do we just put Lemon on the PS and wait for Carter?

Once Bennett is back Rucker is gone; then Young will go as well. We will either look for a vet Tackle or chance it with Parnell. Once Carter is back we will have to cut someone or stay with 3 OTs. I doubt anyone would want Young so we can probably stash him on the PS.
