Dak had a higher quarterback rating, 103.2 to Rogers' 96.7. Rogers was amazing, but Dak was a little better. Even more impressive considering the hole Dak was put in due to penalties, dropped passes, questionable coaching, and poor defense. Today Dak earned the respect of everyone who loves football.
OK so if you switch qb's before the game green bay still wins ?

Dak's my quarterback, and he has been unequivocally so since the preseason game in Seattle.

I'm proud of him and the way he fought back in the second half. Very inspiring.

Not to mention, he's been under scrutiny and stress I'm not sure any other rookie QB has ever endured.

He's going to be relentless next season. I can't wait.

29-33 points and 100-105 passer ratings result in wins more than 75% of the time, whatever the QB's name is.

Yep, Romo knows a little bit about that.
As unfair as it is with the QB, it's all about the W, Dak is 0-1 in the playoffs, that's the only thing that matters, SMH.

Dak and Zeke played like they belong. Very impressed. Remember.....these are only rookies. They'll only get better and it seems we have a promising future. Dez Bryant played like a man possessed today. This Dline really needs to be addressed this off season!!!

We can win a SB with Dak as the QB, but he was anointed too soon... That interception did not help either...

lol @ "dak could have played better/was average" . who are you comparing him to? rodgers? heck Rodgers is a HOF Qb who just beat a better squad on his own. yea no wonder daks performance doesnt please many...

some are forgetting hes a rookie. he put up 300 yards w 3 TDs. and he was NOT the reason we lost today.

He played well. But , I will say that INT was inexcusable. It was at a critical time. I know GB didn't get points off of it. But , we were rolling at that point and could've maybe put up 38 points. I also saw a lot of missed reads in the first half. Guys were wide open down field all night. With a seasoned veteran QB they'd put up a minimum of 40 points. I won't be suprised if the Falcons put up 52 points next week. Dez should have had 200 yards and 2-3 tds. He was open on fly routes all game. Can't settle for FG's in the playoffs. Dissapointing missed opportunity this year.

One thing about Romo was he'd be perfect for so many consecutive passes/games but then he'd just hit a mental wall and totally self destruct. I saw him do it all the time. Lots of times he'd turn it around and bring us back into the game, and sometimes even win it. But let's not pretend that his INT after INT after INT wasn't what put us in the hole to begin with. That's something I haven't seen from Dak. Maybe it's a result of us changing our offensive strategy and focusing on ball security later in Romo's career. I did notice a drop in those awful games for Romo over the past few years. But Dak showed a rare poise since his very first game as a rookie that took Romo 10 years to develop. Brady had that same poise. Brady was pretty bad in his earlier years, but he knew how to handle big moments. Now he's probably the GOAT. I hope Dak continues to develop and get better as a QB. Even if he never gets better, he'd still be one of the top 10 QBs in the game. Imagine when actually improves. We got ourselves a winner.

The QB passed for more TDs in 2014 and the RB ran for more yards.
Just.to be clear, I'm not debating who is the the better player or who should've been started. That ship sailed awhile ago. My only opinion is that the sum total of the talent of the entire roster was virtually the same in 2014 as it was for this season. Y'all can quibble about stats. And whatnot. I won't. But overall, the teams were built the same and performed the same. This team this season was not far and away better than 2014. How you feel about 2016 may be the difference, but that's it.

So Romo who never put up forty in any playoff game, heck who only put thirty once suddenly figures it all out at 36 yo huh? Boy for a pessimist, you sure are optimistic on Romo.
