Just heard Dak's post game comments...does he honestly think we don't listen to what he says after EVERY bad game and roll our eyes??? Does he really think we are so gullible as to buy his SAME CRAP??? Today it was "gotta learn from it" or "not put the ball at risk"....blah, blah, blah. The problem is that he is seven (7) years into his pro career, and these have 100% been proven to be EMPTY PROMISES....he is what he is....slightly above average, and NOT consistent enough to EVER go on a long playoff run....period!!!

This interviews are business to him. I dont think he every thinks about what fans think of his answers.

Those answers are the standard empty phrases getting taught to players. They get into the interview, give them and get out.

I do wonder that people watch this kind of stuff.

There is no doubt Noah should have caught that pass. But let's not pretend Dak was great the whole game. The pick 5 yards over Shulz was awful. The bomb on third and 10 with a minute left was awful. If the receiver wasn't wide open deep, either throw it short or take off running and make them burn their final timeout.
IF if was a Fifth???

Prescott is the starting starting QB on 10 Win Team at worst 5th Seed.

I don’t waste my time grading QBs from the sideline……

Bad Loss, if we beat Eagles who will really care

I'm not a fan of Dak.. never have been. I remember the days when it was the Romo vs Dak sub forum and MattJames and I fought the good fight about the clear defects in Daks game. Fast forward 6 more seasons.. and they are still there.

I do not put that last INT on Dak 100%.. I'm sure if you looked at the INT stats for a lot of QBs.. there are lots of INTs that would be the fault of bad protection, bad play calling, bad route running, bad WR play, WR drops etc etc.. so yes Brown should have caught it.

BUT this game wasn't lost on that turnover (well it was factually but you know what I mean).. it was lost with Dak's first horrendous INT (which was 100% on him).. it was lost with him being unable to convert on the goal line AGAIN because he can't read a simple RPO and we had to settle for a FG.. it was lost with him continuing to try to be the 'man' even though our run game is what dominates.. it was lost with him failing to convert for 3 series in a row and meaning that our D got gassed after being on the field for all bar 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter.. it was lost with him going to a putrid sideline HEAVE instead of keeping the clock moving.. it was lost when he took a sack because he stares down his receiver.. it was lost when he continues to force the ball into tight windows because he can't scan the field.. it was lost when our receivers are required to ALWAYS contort, come back and fight for the ball because it is rarely delivered on time, in stride or on target.. it was lost when teams load up on the run and double CeeDee because we gave away Cooper because we couldn't afford him so we could pay this joke of a QB 40M a season to do precisely nothing but pad his stats.

So yeah.. the defence should take some of the blame.. they gave up way too many yards and points.. but that tends to happen when you spend SOOOO little draft or cap on the defence and then they have 6 of 11 starters missing through injury.. and we can't go and replace dudes because 20% of our cap is spent on a QB that does nothing.

So yeah.. lets blame all the parts of the team not called Dak for this loss because our WR3 dropped a ball that was throw wobbling, low and through four sets of defenders hands from a QB off balance and off his back foot because he ran like a rabbit as soon as there is even a whiff of pressure in the pocket. Yep.. AB was the reason we lost for sure.

I don’t blame it all on Dak, but it was low and thrown to the worst option on the field. Brown dropped it, but that’s not intercepted if it isn’t thrown into double coverage. They are both to blame, imo.
The ball wasn’t deflected and he had no hands in his face. The ball hit him in the stomach. Brown was as open as any receiver will ever be. So no, both are most definitely not to blame.

That said, physical mistakes happen. I’m generally not going to kill a guy for that sort of thing. Ish happens.

Dak was good today, but geez, there's a big difference between Dak and Lawrence. Dak has a tendency to look like he is playing in the middle of a house fire. Lawrence is so dang composed and manipulates the pocket very well. Arm talent difference is huge. First overall for real.

When was the last time the Cowboys had an "Any given Sunday" win? Those happen more often against this team.

It comes down to Dak going down and TAKING the game. He's the highest paid by far, throwing the ball behind, below, over receivers has become all too common. Thing is, when the game is on the line Dak rarely comes through, bench him until he learns its all on him when the ball is in his hands to win it!

That's not what you initially said. Stop lying.
OK, we can say that I omitted the "since week 8" part but I don't know how that helps or makes things better for Dak or for you. Of the link you posted, of all those other 7 QBs "above" Dak... how many games have they played this season? and how many games has Dak played? At this rate, had he played all the games this season he would be on top of the list. Can you query the list and show the INTs per QB since Dak returned? don't bother, I think he is on top of the list.

But look, I was trying to help the argument that Dak is a great leader, at least a leader on INTs... But I can't help you more guys.

If he is "a terrible QB and a great leader", maybe they should switch him from QB to Cheerleader Coordinator, he has great flexibility, just watch how he ended the game sitting with his legs wide open, he can lead and teach them how to do splits, fist bump the Team members every time they get to the field... or fist bump when they are sitting on the bench...or shake the hands of the Cowboys defense player in the field after a positive turnover, oh so many Leadership attributes, too many to list here.

but did you see the leadership on the sidelines? wow, that almost won the game for us.
Yep. During the Jacksonville possession in the OT, the camera showed an animated Dak, helmet off, mouthing the words, "get me the ball", or "I want the ball..." or something similar.
Well, they got him the ball and the game ended. It's not the kind of leadership they need. But I could be wrong.

We all should care. Beating the Eagles means nothing. Well probably win. That's our way. One great game, one awful game sometimes with a miraculous finish, a few average games with big moments. This team can look amazing, but it more often looks average. Take a realistic look all 14 games and you'll see that about 3 we've played well. The rest we've outright been embarrassing for long stretches. Not just bad, but embarrassing.

I'll always cheer them to win. I get more nervous as a fan that I ever did playing hockey on college. It's sucks watching this team make brain dead mistakes year after year
