He's there, but the NFL website has him in rounds 2-3.

This whole thing reminds me of last year when we traded down then up to take Fred and then get Williams. Same knee jerk reaction. This guy had first round grades on multiple mocks. At worst he was at the top of the second on most boards.

I don't like spending the third either but if he's a player all is forgiven.

I agree. I didn't like giving up that much. I'm only hoping that I have to reverse myself on that in a year or two.

Most 3rd rounders are not starters until the 2nd or 3rd season IF they ever become one. So it all depends on if this player starts now and how many snaps he gets the first three years.
