jernigan isn't the pass rusher lawrence is. from what i can tell, they just weren't as high on him (get it??? GET IT???) as other teams were.

I reserved my judgement for a while but now I'm upset at the trade now that I see who's still on the board. They over thought it and threw away a 3rd rounder. I like the player but not at the price of a 3rd rounder. Bad move overall and one we will regret

Its easy when you're not in the hotseat and have the benefit of seeing what actually happened. Even so, you have no way to know if he would have made it to #47 or not. They said he was the only guy left they wanted for the RDE spot and didn't want to take any chance of losing him.

really, you still believe and buy into the BS that Jerry Jones spouts...he's a situational speed pass rusher....not an every down player... and jerry said, Claibourne was the next Dion Sanders. hows that working out...

You can't really look at the players drafted and say so and so would have been there. You took the player; he isn't there. Other teams who had him rated highly on their boards don't just drop to the next DE....they go to other positions to get value.

We got an OL we value, and we got our pass rushing RDE.
We will find another DL prospect later.

He is the second best pass rusher behind Clowney. Basically we gave up a second and a third to get a first rounder. That sounds like a great deal to me.
