Official Eagles " Hate Thread "

I hate Donovan McNabb more than I hate Michael Vick.

And that's a lot of hate.

If Dallas doesn't go in there inspired to make amends then this team has no heart.

but win or lose, if the passion to win is evident, the game will be meaningful.

Obviously dallas is the more talented team and like Philly they both are underachieving teams riding a hot hand.

Buddy Ryan and the Bounty Bowl. Pickle juice and a dozen other horrible memories capped off by a 44-6 blowout last year.

Michael Irvin's injury and the boorish Eagles fans being elated.

I can't stand them.

TO did the eagle dance in our end zone, but he was a niner when he posed twice on our star at midfield.

True. But he also did the wide open stance on one of the mini stars in our end zone; as an Iggle.

Forgive me for desanctifying this board with this trash.

I am going to the game, and if the Cowboys pull another game like last year, I may implode in the Linc...listening to that God awful Pigeons Fight song after they score is the worst thing I have ever had to endure....Wade better get this team ready to pound the pigeons into the turf!!!!!!!!!!!!

If? I dont want to start no trouble, but what is different about this year's team to think the outcome will be different?

Perhaps the fact that they did beat the Eagles on monday night last year. And they've split games with the Eagles the past few years now.

I live in New Jersey and have to hear from this guy all the time. I do not dislike a player more than I do McNabb. From his insistent whining about his draft day, to his interview on Real Sports where he thinks he is a victim of racism, to constant complaining about getting weapons on his team, and of course throwing his defense under the bus at the end of the NFC Championship game last year when he enough time to drive his team down for the winning score.

Tell me now, how is that a guy so bent on making people feel sorry for him, a guy that can't take any kind of criticism, a guy that will never win a superbowl but will always throw blame around, gets a raise in his paycheck, while the heart of the Eagles defense Dawkins won't get a dime and gets shown the door.

I hate the Eagles, but I hate McNabb even more, and the fact that he whined and got what he wanted is just sickening. Maybe it's because I respected Dawkins so much and wanted to see him get what was coming to him, and now this clown has more money. I don't know. But I do know that the root of my anger for the Eagles stems from this one player, and I can't stand to see him win when he shouldn't.

I think the reason I hate the Eagles so much revolves solely around McNabb.

I can't really bring myself to find any other player on there that has been as much of a loser and crybaby then McNabb who will never get it done when it counts.

I know it's early, but next week's game is HUGE. Despite what Shining Star thinks, I hate the Eagles. I will be there next week to cheer us on! I know we have many, but what are 3 reasons you HATE the Eagles:

1. 44-6
2. Pickle Juice
3. Sending Irvin to retirement on a stretcher

:suxiggle:

The entire city of Philly sucks and im not sure anybody likes them except for the people that live there.

I dont live there:D

That Philly team looks pretty good right now - again. :banghead:

I remember a certain short-term ESPN personality espousing that McNabb was mediocre, merely benefited from the excessive tolerance accorded him for being a 'black quarterback', and that the defense carried McNabb and the offense. That 'media personality' subsequently and rightly stepped down amidst a maelstrom of criticism and has subsequently been exposed for the idiot he is.

Say what you want about McNabb - without him the Eagles wouldn't have achieved all those NFC East division championships - and been a constant thorn in our side for the last decade.

A victory over them, on the road no less, will confirm that Dallas is 'for real'.

Please, no injuries - and may the best team win on Sunday night. Good luck Eagles fans... but, naturally, I hope the Cowboys thoroughly kick your team's collective ***. :eagles:

Why do you people talk like we've never beaten Filthy.

We swept them in 05.

They swept us in 06.

We split the series in 07 and 08.

1. Their fanbase just plain sucks.
2. Infamous "Pickle Juice Game".
3. I was born to hate the Iggles.

since i first noticed these hate threads against denver i've never really felt the need to contribute as we've been playing teams that as far as i was concerned were just another opposition. this week however i can whole-heartedly agree with the thread sentiments. the history and rivalry helped me to hate them going in to the only time i have seen us play them when i sat up till 4 in the morning watching the 44-6 game on an online feed with some eagles fan laughing histerically over the commentary. absolutely loathe this shower.

Because when IT really mattered, we did not beat them when it counted.

thats not true. The 05 win on monday night up there was a big win for us. Same thing in 07. That was a huge win.

That last game against them has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, mine too.

But we are 4-4 against them the last 8 games. We have won at their place and at ours against them.

Last year we rolled in there a beat up team physically and mentally. Zach thomas said after the game no one got over the ravens loss and we had no chance up there.

Throw in the injuries we had and we got killed.

We are going up there healthy, motivated, in a groove and with a better special teams unit than we have had in a decade.

We can force as many mismatches on them as they can on us, and whichever offensive line plays better is probably going to win.

I hate anything about Philadelphia and I hate all eagles and all birds because they are like eagles

Funny...I could has swore he said lay him out. Which, maybe they changed the meaning of laying someone out, but that's wishing for a big hit. He never said he hoped the guy wouldn't ever get up, or wouldn't ever play again.

Thats you Philly fans that cheer for serious injuries.

As for why I hate them...They're the Eagles. What's not to hate?
