as bad as our defense looks right now, what would it look like without newman? he's not been good this year, but give the guy a bit of a break. how many corners are studs right out of the gate? trufant has outplayed him, but trufant has also had a better supporting cast. Newman is out on an island week in and week out.

Another silver lining is this game should provide ample proof that Zimmer needs to be fired ASAP.

That's a bright side??? BTW - I'm one of the few dudes that hasn't been on board with Henson, starting from day one so I may be somewhat biased, I'd just prefer we stop signing failed baseball players
