That's not what I asked. We had a timeout in hand, 40+ seconds, and 3 downs to get in 5 yds (bailey's range). It was INEXCUSABLE.

He's the coach because he is a yes man to the drunk.
Then the 13-3 season is all him too. Picking a star QB in the 4th round is a him. Etc.

He still would have been a star even if we didn't see it this year. A star is a star even if he's sitting on the bench and a lot of QBs were drafted ahead of him who aren't nearly as good. Not true . The only reason Zak had the chance was because of injuries.
HOW DOES IT GIVE US MORE PLAYS IF WE GIVE UP A PLAY DOING IT? IT CUTS THE MARGIN FOR ERROR BY 33%, DOWNS MATTER, THEY AREN'T UNLIMITED. DO YOU THINK THERE IS A CHANCE IN HELL RODGERS SPIKES THAT? OR BRADY?how is spiking the ball playing for overtime? it stopped the clock to save a timeout so we could get more plays. we were all ready in field goal range. so more plays were not needed.
thanks for proving my point about situational football
Garrett did a great job to get us here. We lost because one of the best QBs in the league did something amazing.
Dumbest reaction ever. Look at the results over the last 3 years and wait another 1year. Just like when we lost to Detroit in 91. SBs on the way. Period!Joke coach and a joke team............nothing else to say but a major league choke job...........07 repeat
Jason Garrett is the man for this organization. The fight in this team to come back is all Jason. I love him.
That's my way of answering your dumb question. It wouldn't have happened. That's not what I asked.
It burned a play that could have easily lead to a scoring drive. You take the play, and then take the time out, take a few shots towards the sideline, and see if you can punch it in. If not, you kick a field goal. Plenty of time for this scenario.how is spiking the ball playing for overtime? it stopped the clock to save a timeout so we could get more plays. we were all ready in field goal range. so more plays were not needed.

And you would be whining if we had to kick the FG because we didn't spike the ball and ran out of time. Don't try denying it. A rookie QB lost to the best QB in NFL history, that's all there is to it.1. Team was not ready.
2. Left 4 points out there.
3. Spiked ball too soon.
4. Left too much time on clock in the process.
5. Add something here.........

Why wouldn't it have happened? It happens every week that a team has to kick a FG because they run out of time in regulation. Why wouldn't it have happened here? That's my way of answering your dumb question. It wouldn't have happened.
it's called time on the clock. we were down to 30 seconds and one time out.HOW DOES IT GIVE US MORE PLAYS IF WE GIVE UP A PLAY DOING IT?

Because there was 5 seconds on the clock and no timeouts.HOw were they going to have kick on second down in the hypothetical?
